I'm like way late but happy Halloween, I'm not like...six feet under yet.

I tossed the ball over and over again, it was so boring without Richie here. I mean, I was so used to us just bucking around every morning and then him going to class every morning. He always came back with a new story to tell, even if it was as simple as a test or teacher he hated to as complex as him explaining the schooling to me.

Finally, the door opens and there goes my shaggy-headed boy in our apartment. It was tough going to college and working to keep the lights on. Not like he does, I do, actually.

His entry caught me off guard and I watched as he drew closer to me without even noticing...then I dropped the base ball, "Ow!"

I grimaced at my mistake, I floated down from where I was with my back lounging against the ceiling like I was facing right side up in a recliner. I turned self up right and let myself sink a bit lower, "sorry, Rich, I was distracted."

He crossed his arms and looked up to me. I cowered a bit like a child as he pointed down towards the floor, "Arri, get down!" He said strongly.

"Sorry, lovebug." I said trying to get him to ease up, he did after a few seconds and proceeded to open his arms up. I floated to a full embrace, a most likely, empty one fo him.

"Is this what you were doing all day?" He asked me, I nodded kissed his cheek. He always felt warm. The heads on his arms stood up as I did so. I hate being dead.

"It's more of a pass-time. I, sometimes, go see what the other tenants are doing." I told him truthfully, he shook his head as he picked up the baseball he let me have from when he was a kid, "Arrietty, you can't just go into other people's homes without their permission."

"Well, I can't do it with their permission, I'm a ghost, they'd freak!" I explained to the boy. He sighed as he walked through me and into the kitchen where he threw his book bag onto he kitchen counter. He turned to see me float through the wall and cross my legs in a levitated, criss-crossed position.

"Woman you drive me mad." He said as he rolled his eyes with a playful smile at me. Whew, I thought he'd tell at me.

"Well, you're the one who moved into the thirteenth apartment on the thirteenth floor of the only apartment complex in all of Derry with a thirteenth floor." He looked at me with a confused expression. I started to float around I'm in circles, all he did was look down annoyed and tapped his feet, hands in his pockets."Don't ya know? Most complexes like hotels and things don't have thirteenth floors cause they're always haunted, keep up, nerd boy."

"Okay, first of all that sounds so ridiculous and unbelievable." He says grabbing me by my hand as I was floating past his face and pulling me in front of him, "says the boy who has living with a ghost girl for the past three years." I quizzed.

If it was one thing I knew how to do, it was get Richie Tozier worked up, "-and stop calling me 'nerd boy' if you wanna see a real nerd you oughta see Eds Kaspbrak. Biggest nerd on campus besides Benny hanscom."

"Make me stop," I smirked at him he tried to grab me, but obviously intangibility is a skill I practiced for years, in other words, his hands traveled through me. I leaned into the air and stuck my thumbs in my ears making a face, "catch me if you can, nerd boy." I said pushing his face back and flying away.

"I'm sooo gonna kill you again, ghost girl." He laughed as he chased after me.

This was short and kind f nothing but, I missed publishing. I've been writing a lot so this was something to just... I dunno, entertain the people. Hope you enjoy, Later sk8rs.
