I look at the map trying to figure out my next route when the car broke down, I was confused was I suppose to walk now. I look for the nearest bunker on the map and the closest one was here in New York 100 miles from where I am in a dry baron area.
I decide to stay in the car for the night since it was too dark to start my journey anyways, as I'm dozing off to sleep I hear a light tap on my window, I wake up startled to see my mom. It was probably just a hallucination, I look at her debating if she was real or not, she was dressed in business savvy clothes, her short blonde hair pulled up into a ponytail. She knocked louder pulling me out of my daze. I roll down the window slightly just to be safe.
"Mom?"I asked.

"Yes Kaden come with me,"She replied.

I debate on whether or not to listen but at this point what had I got to lose. I get out of the car and go to hug her.

"How have you managed to stay alive?"I asked. "Is the whole family still alive."

And then I was out like a dying lightbulb, just pure blackness. I wake up tied to a chair with light shining on me in every corner, my mom and dad were sitting across from me smiling.

"Hello Kaden,"My mom said.

"What did you do to me?"I asked trying to get out of the strong grip of the ropes tied around me.

"Nothing my sweet boy. I've come to propose a deal,"My mom said.

"You didn't think we could just talk like people?"I asked annoyed.

"Well. See we are,"My dad said.

"Yes Kaden you know I love you and I just want what's best for you right?"My mother asked.

"Yes so get to the point,"I said.

"Well Kaden we know about your baby with Kat, and how Kat loves you, clearly you don't love her cause we can't have you loving someone who isn't good enough for you,"My dad said.

"So?! What's your point? What is wrong with her? I do love her too and you can't change that I love her,"I defended.

"That's just delusional Kaden, listen we love you and we understand, but we promise we can help you,"My dad said.

"I don't care,"I said losing my patients. "It's not a delusion say what you want, but I really love her. Why can't you just see that! Who are you to care anyways?"

"We are.. Well more or less The last day humans cooperation we run everything from now on, plan it perfectly, and make sure nothing goes wrong in our system, see we are the founders more or less with others along side. But we cannot have Kat and her baby alive, it will ruin the system,"My mom said.

I look at them like they're insane "Geez really?! I always though you people were crazy, but this! This is insane! You would kill your own grandchild just for some stupid corperation! I love them you are gonna have to go through me to kill them!"

"That's not a problem Kaden not at all, see, the problem is you guys messed with the system when you decided to mess everything we had planned up. But listen little champ we can fix this if you agree to work with us side by side and never see Kat again,"My dad said.

"..I-No! You guys are lunatics!"I yelled.

"Then we will have to kill Kat and your baby,"My dad said. "So I'd advise you to pick wisely."

I had to do what was best for the two of them, no matter how much I wanted to see Kat again I knew for a fact I couldn't I would have to take this deal right? "Fine. But you have to promise not to hurt them, to let them live their happy, normal lives, and you cannot hurt a hair on their head, you cannot touch them!"
