*Mason's P.O.V*

"You're not going anywhere," Someone said from right behind Kat, it was of course Kaden.

I sighed of course it was I mean this is just our luck, I walked over to Kaden rolling my eyes in annoyance "Hey man how about you get out of our way and let us go or you're gonna have to go through me, understood man?!"

Kat, and Isabel looked at me shocked wondering where this had all suddenly come out of because I'm gonna be honest it's not something I would do on a daily basis.
Kaden just stood staring at me in silence when he finally shook out of it and spoke "Look I'm not stopping you guys, I saw you guys at the penthouse... I want to help."

"Huh..."I was shocked to hear this kind of hoping to show my strength to Abie when Kat tells her all about it "So you don't want to fight?"

"Mason, what are you even doing?" Kat asked trying to hold in her laughter.

"The better question is, why does Kaden want to help us? He's a pig." Isabel chimed in.

"Look I'm not sure why I'm helping but the thing is if you guys want to escape, you all need to leave right now no questions asked! Leave while you can just trust me please..." Kaden said his eyes pleading with us.

Kat set Damon down and ran somewhere in the house, then she came back with Abie and a whole suitcase full of who knows what "I'm ready! Let's scram. Roadtrip time!"

Abie looks around confused rubbing her eyes trying to get them to adjust "What is going on?"

"Don't even ask," Isabel replied back grabbing her "Everyone out in the car like now!!"

I ran into the kitchen finding a big bag to put food in, I hurriedly stuffed everything that was useful and grabbed a bunch of waters to last us a long good while, then ran out to the car with everyone throwing all the food in the trunk while Kat tossed her random pink suitcase there too, then Kat turned to Kaden "Are you coming?"

He didn't waste a second with his reply and quickly said: "No, Go, and don't look back."

We got into the car and Isabel was driving, there were three seat sections, the driver part where there was also a passenger seat, then the middle row of seats, and of course the last row of seats. Abie sat next to Isabel in the front probably to avoid me, but can't jump to assumptions right? Kat looked at Abie and sighed "I wanted to sit there!"

Abie stuck her tongue out at Kat "Well shotgun!"

"I gotta sit in the back with the children anyways," Kat said putting Damon and Bella next to me.

I looked at the children horrified "I don't want to take care of them!"

Kat jumped into the car too, jumping to the very back leaving me with the kids "Love you May May good luck."

Defeated I looked at the children "Hi guys, I'm fun Mason as you all may know."

Isabel locked the car door and headed to wherever we were going "How's Bella?"

I looked at the tiny baby seeing she was fine making cooing noises "I think she's fine?"|

"She great," Kat said. "Don't worry boo May May has got the job covered."

I look back at her whispering "Come over here and take care of these children."

Kat laughed at me "Look you don't even have to do anything they'll just fall asleep."

I slumped back on the seat. When Damon started talking to me "May May wanna play a game with me?"

I looked at the fascinated way he was looking at me and couldn't help but say yes "Of course bro, we're bros now."

Damon smiled up at me excitement behind his eyes "Love you May May."

Everyone in the car started laughing at that including me who knew children could be so cute.
Kat poked her head over to look at Damon furrowing her eyebrows "He's copying me."

Damon laughed that cute little child laugh "Mommy you're copying me."

Abie looked back at Damon too "Hmm I think you're right Damon."

"I'm always right," Damon said folding his arms in accomplishment.

"Man Kat you literally raise a mini you, but like a boy version," Isabel said.

Kat went back down in her seat "Oh yeah buddy."

After about an hour of listening to "You make my dreams come true" and driving We started to run out of gas and Isabel started to freak out  "Shit! I never thought about what we'd do if we ran out of gas!"

Damon looked over at Isabel curiosity in his eyes "Shit!"

Kat stood up fast looking at him shocked "DAMON!!! Don't say that!"

Isabel started laughing "Oh my heck ahhhh I'm wheezing!!!"

Eventually, we came across a gas station and stopped by to get gas hoping not to be seen by them ghetto people "I'll go in and get snacks."

"Ight, get me biscuits!" Isabel said.

I looked at her confused "Do they even have biscuits?"

"Probably," Kat said. "I need to pee. I'll be back. Mason put the seat down or I'll climb over you."

I put the seat down and jump out of the car, Kat jumped out too and tripped like always, Abie stuck her head out the window and started laughing at her "That's what you get for trying to climb over Mason."

Kat jumped back up dusting herself off "Y'all are whack I need to pee bye." Kat said running into the gas station singing The tide is high all the way there.

Abie and I looked at her wondering what this girl was on, then we turned to each other with a look of Nevermind this is how she always is.
"Do you want anything?" I asked Abie.

"A mango Snapple and probably popcorn."

"Alright, I'll go get it," I said running into the store after Kat.

I grabbed everything that looked good and threw it onto the counter "I'll take it all."

The guy looked at me like I was crazy then just accepted it's a gas station "Okay."

I dance around the store grabbing random people and dancing with them, it was the weirdest but also at the same moment I was filled with happiness I had not felt in a while and I was just happy to be here in a gas station dancing like an idiot.
When I got back to the car I threw everything onto the seat and Damons eyes grew wide with excitement "Yay food!"

When Kat got back and everyone was here in the car again, Isabel drove off, and while we were jamming out to our road trip playlist I heard a voice from the trunk we all turned our heads back to see Jasmine stretching her arms out yawning as if she had just awoken from a long slumber, Kat started screaming not expecting it then calmed down when she saw who it was "Gurllll what are you doing in the trunk?"

"Where am I?" Jasmine asked yawning.

"You! I've been looking for you!" Isabel said.
