 *Abie's P.O.V*

"Hold up! Wait... How did you not get squashed by Kat's big ole suitcase and that big bag of food I threw back there?" Mason asked.

"I just went here to take a nap, I didn't feel anything crush me," Jasmine said.

Kat looked at her with wonder "How did you sleep through all that is the honest question."

I look at Jasmine my anger flaring "I hate you. Get out! Walk!"

Isabel pulls the car over and jumps out of the car opening the trunk and pulling Jasmine out by the hair, Jasmine immediately started running from her around the car in a circle after managing to get out of her grip "Wait let me talk!!"

"TALK THEN!"

"I WAS CHIPPED!" Jasmine yelled in panic.

Kat, Mason, and I watched them as we cracked open a bag of popcorn for each of us it was like the popcorn chips that we didn't have to pop cause it was already prepared to eat. 

"Yo May May, cover Damon's eyes and Bella's, this is getting good," Kat said.

I smile feeling good that Jasmine was getting what she deserved being attacked by Isabel, but what had she meant by being chipped? 

Kat shouted over to them over all the chaos of their fighting "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WERE CHIPPED?"

"WHEN WE WERE AT THE TIKI BAR..." Jasmine said taking a moment to catch her breath "I GOT SO DRUNK THINKING OF HOW MUCH I LOVED RONNIE AND I'D NEVER HAVE HER BECAUSE OF MASON WHO I'M ALSO IN LOVE WITH BY THE WAY, ANYWAYS, NOT THE POINT. WHEN I WAS DRUNK KADEN CAME OVER TOLD ME ALL ABOUT HIS PLANS, WELL, THE WEIRD CULTS ACTUALLY, AND THEN HE TOLD ME HE HAD TO CHIP ME AND THAT'S ALL I REMEMBER AND NOW IM HERE! OKAY IM SORRY I LOVE YOU GUYS I NEVER MEANT TO DO WHAT I DID I COULDN'T CONTROL THAT DAMN CHIP!"

Everyone just stopped for a moment in shock, but really at this point what more was there to be shocked about, of course, they chipped people. I get out of the car running up to Jasmine grabbing her shoulder and looking up at her "Is that why you went after Parley?"

Jasmine looked at me as tears formed in her eyes and I could tell she was truly sorry "Yes... yes, I'm so sorry you are my best friend Abie! I would never hurt you intentionally when I was under that chips control I was just watching but not controlling my own self, and it hurt so much to see you in so much pain I know how much Parley means to you, and plus, he's not my type did you all ever think to wonder why I would go after him out of all people?"

A look of realization came to all of our faces and then I hugged Jasmine as tears fell down my face I was so happy to have my best friend back I missed her more than I could've ever missed Parley and my friendship with her was so much more important than some guy and, to add, it wasn't even her fault the whole Parley thing happened it was Kaden's and Parley's "I'm sorry too I should have known something was wrong I guess I just sort of felt like everyone was just a cheat after Parley and I never once thought Parley?"

Isabel came over "So you aren't just making this all up so I don't curb stomp you?"

"Wait... If Jasmine was chipped then why not chip other people? Who else is under their control?" Kat asked.

I broke away from Jasmine's hug "If Jasmine was chipped... Parley could be too."

"No, he's just douche bag. Let's be honest," Mason replied.

Kat shushed him "Mason shut up! You could be right Abie, but if so, it's not right none of this is right, we need to fight back, show them they don't own the people or the world!"

"Kat's right, if we do nothing about it they're just gonna keep doing it like it's completely okay, and it's not!" Isabel said. "They could have chipped Alex for all we know... To leave Bella and me."

"Get in the car," I said.

We all loaded into the car once more and started driving to the nearest bunker to settle our plan of action, to plan our next move. As soon as we arrived the sun was starting to rise, I looked over at Mason who was smiling at me the beautiful orange glow of the sunrise shone on him and his brown eyes had a sparkle in them like they always did when he looked at me, but today, they were sparkling so much more than usual and maybe if for even just a split moment I felt my heart kick start, and that was when I broke eye contact because I knew I couldn't my heart was too far shattered for anyone to fix it, and I wasn't ready to shatter his heart either he meant to much for me to ever be able to actually just hurt him as Parley hurt me, as a friend and maybe even someone I felt something for. 

"Abie, you're awfully quiet," Isabel said.

I shook out of my thoughts halfheartedly smiling at her "Yeah I mean it's been a long night, I honestly would just love to take a nap at this point in time."

"You're right I do too, I wanna sleep away the problems," Isabel said.

If only it was possible I would've done it to avoid my deep heartache from the moment I saw Parley making out with Jasmine "Don't we all."

We settled down into the bunker and all just found any place to sleep, at that point we didn't really care who slept where, as long as we were able to get the sleep we've all been yearning for and then when we all awoke we'd all get back to planning some kind of attack against the weird cult, so we could get back to a somewhat normal life, though at this point we all knew that wasn't gonna happen.
