Chapter 20

ASHFUR POV

I was in the den right now giving birth with Rose in her helping me like always.

"Ok Ashfur there's one more in there and I need you to push hard," Rose says, I then push the hardest I could and after that, I was tired "congrats Ashfur you had 4 kits"

"What did I have?" I ask being tired.

"You had 3 females and 1 male," she says.

After that, she left and Scourge came in.

"Hey Ashy, what did we get this time?" Scourge asks as he lays next to me.

"We got 4 kits 3 females and 1 male" he nods "now for the names"

"Yep, now let's see what we can come up with this time," Scourge says.

We look at them closely.

"Well this one is a female and her fur is dark white with aqua color spots on her fur and on her front left paw, so can we name her Agua?" I ask.

"I'm fine with it, but is normal for a cat to have blue fur?" Scourge asks being confused. 

"Actually yes it is" he still looks at me confused "you see it's rare but special because everybody believes that if a cat with blue fur is born they think that Bluestar is back"

"Who's that?" Scourge asks.

"Bluestar was the first leader of all cats, she also the one that made the Clans, she's a legend, but let's talk more about that later and pick names for our little ones"

"Ok" I see Scourge look at the kits "how about Misty for this one since she looks like the color of mist" Scourge says as his tail points to the kit.

I look at the kit "ok, Misty it is and what about the other 2?" I ask.

"Well since we have another black kit, because of me," Scourge says trying to act all proud and mighty, I laugh a little.

"Don't act so proud about it," he chuckles "but anyway what do you have in mind?"

"I want to call her Nightmare because she looks like one and plus her paws and tail have a light black on them," he says.

"Ok Nightmare it is and I want to name him Chestnut"

"Why?" Scourge asks.

"Well when I use to live in the forest I would see these chestnuts and they had this reddish color with brown lines all over it and that's what he has, see"

Scourge looks at him closely "o, ok I see it now"

After that was over Scourge laid back down next to me and looked at our new kits, soon after we went to sleep with my tail around my kits and Scourge's tail around all of us.
