Things seem so distraught, no one seems to care

Ev'rythings against me and I can't win

Alas, these were the thoughts of a dead man

However one has come to take his place

A stronger man, with a better outlook

This man knows not the burdens of the last

What made this man the way he is today?

The answer only known by very few

There was a fire, a desire to fill

And filled it became, making his life glow

You could not show me a man more joyful

A joy so great his life changed forever

The dead man might be gone, happy for it

But the new man was far better than he.
