The storm brings such large amounts of rainfall

But not once does lightning dare to strike down

For that action would bring much large scale pain

But not everybody is safe and sound

The thunderstorm stops with its rainfall now

For having too much would cause a bad flood

But having too little would cause a drought

Maybe its intent was misunderstood

The clouds begin to part away from view

For cloudy days aren't great for their morale

But without clouds the sun wreaks havoc too

But the thunderstorm is gone, too late now

They plead for the rain, making it confused

They all want joy, but to that, it asks, who's?
