Sitting here silently missing that time

The time that we shared in this very spot

Wish for it again, it might just be mine

Some think it's too good to be true; it's not

Days have brightened up, nights are much more clear

Storms not so heavy, ice not as frozen

The feeling that I get I hold so dear

And I will for all the time I'm given

For now all I can do is wait it out

My wish will come true, and joy to follow

Enough to make me want to scream and shout

But a feeling I wish to preserve slow

The feelings you give me are great, no less

How you managed to see good in this mess.
