Laura's P. O. V

I climbed the stairs and opened the door to the rooftop and went inside. The view is worth coming over here through those killer stairs, and for a moment I dumbfounded by the beauty of the trees and road, by the peaceful atmosphere around here, and almost forgot why I came in the first place. I walked around and scanned the whole area but I can't see him.

What the hell!

Irritated, I marched towards the door, thinking all the ways to kill him, and started to yank the door to go downstairs but the door was-
Was locked?

What the fuck!!!

Who the hell did that? How I'm going to get out from here.

Bang! Bang! Bang! "Is anybody there?" Bang! Bang! Bang! "Please Open the door." Bang! Bang!....

"I'm going to beat the shit out of you," I shouted, then think he would not open if I said harsh words. So, gritting my teeth I let out, "Okay, listen, if you are there, please, let me out. I won't kick you again and I'm sorry, okay, about that kick. I wouldn't breathe a word about it to anyone. Now, be a nice guy and open up the door."

I waited, putting my ear against the door to hear something, anything, but only wind greeted me.

Maybe he was not even there. I was half expecting that any moment he would open the door and laugh at my face but that never happened. It's been probably two or three hours I have been stuck here and I left my bag and phone in the library. Stupid! I'm such an idiot. Who left their phone in the library. God! Steven did this. He calculatedly did this. He is a prankster, I get it but Why prank me? That jerk doesn't know how this feels. The clouds started to turn darker as the time changes. The wind blows and suddenly I felt cold and hugged myself thinking about how I'm going to get home and I really, seriously need to get home. I don't know from when I started crying but I can tell that my eyes are moist.

Again, I started banging and screaming for help but thought it might be too late but tried anyway. I think I would have to spend this night on this damn bloody patio but then I heard some sound and the door opened. I moved out of the way immediately and sprinted a few feet away. A boy stood in front of me, he has brown eyes and brown hair, I guessed. I don't know what came into me but I hugged him.

And worst, I started crying. "Thank you, thank you so much!" I said in between my disgust sobs.

"It's okay! Stop crying, you are safe now." He said while rubbing my back.

I pulled away realizing that I hugged someone that I don't know and said thanks again. I looked at him, he looks familiar.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

" Someone locked the damn door and I was stuck here until you found me. " I replied while wiping the tears from the back of my hand.

"I can see that but why did you come here?"

"Someone called me to meet here, but when I arrived, there was no one, and when I tried to return the door was, unfortunately, locked. And I forgot my bag and phone in the library. Hey! What's the time?" If my mom got home before me then she is going to give me a whole new and lengthy lecture.

"It's past eight and maybe the college gate was closed, Laura."

He said my name. Does he know me? Obviously!

"How do you know me? I don't know you, though you look familiar." I said looking at him from top to down.

"Well, we both have history, calculus, or maybe P.E together. Don't you saw me?" he said, folding his hands.
