Laura's P. O. V
Vanessa was leaning against my locker, earphones on, hands cross against her chest. When she saw me her smile turned into a small grin.
"Hi!" Standing aside I offered her the same bright grin.
"Hey!" She let out, straightening herself and then unplugged the earphones.
Opening my locker I asked, "Someone seems happy today! Is there any reason behind that grin?"
"Yeah! 'Cause, you went on a date with Brian!" she announced, smirking.
I hastily turned to her after hearing the 'date' word.
"It wasn't a date. We're just hanging out." I explained, shaking my head at her. Yesterday, she called when I was with Brian and now she thinks I went on a date. Like such a hunk would want me.
"Ah-huh." She mumbled still smirking. I rolled my eyes and picked my books when I turned around to see her, she has raised her left brow. I stared at her in puzzlement. "What?"
"I think he likes you." She said.
"Tell me what gave you an idea like that?"
"He took you to a restaurant, don't he? And of course, he must have paid the bill-" I opened my mouth to speak but she continued, "-then he dropped you off to home. That's what we call a date!" She looked like as if she has accomplished an A in calculus.
"He was just trying to lift my mood nothing else!" I defended and before she utters a single word I continued, "and what's in that, you like me too, don't you?" I uttered and started walking towards our class.
"I like you so much, Laura, but I don't stare at you all the damn time and I saw him staring at you. " We got inside and she sat beside me.
"And Can I ask you, why were you staring at him all the time? Do you like him?" I asked, teasingly.
"It's rather hard to ignore I'm sure Alex and Joel would have noticed it too. He's handsome but not my type. I would like him as a friend. What about you?"
"We are just friends, Vanessa!" I exclaimed.
"Oh! then why did he take you on a date?"
"It wasn't a date. Yesterday, after school, I messaged Brian to meet me in the lot and there I saw steven." That statement captured her attention and thank God, she changed the subject.
"Did he said or do anything to you?" she asked, looking at me with her concerned eyes.
"No! But I want to know why did he do that, so I asked and you know what! he acted like he didn't even know what happened. He just kept repeating that he didn't do anything, and then he just asked me how I'm got out. Seriously, that guy has some brain issues. I told him to leave me alone and flew out from there." I explained in a low tone because the class is started to fill in.
"I hope he will not bother you anymore." She said when Mr Clark came in.
"So, that was the reason why we ended up in a coffee shop nothing else. " I whispered and she just shook her head.
*******
"And I'm done!" she chirped.
"Thank god!" I mumbled.
So currently, I'm at Vanessa's house or mansion. I'm wearing a deep watercolour halter dress which ends a few inches above my knees. Vanessa did my face, nude pink lipstick, black eyeliner, pink-peach blush, my hairs are straight and curled at the ends which fall above my waist. Overall I'm looking good.
