Laura's P. O. V

I'm studying. You might be wondering who studies on Sunday? Most people do, okay! But I'm not one of them. I started because, their so much in my mind. I have to distract myself. There only two things that would be helpful in distracting me from all of those thoughts are my novels and Math.

Yes! I'm doing Math. Yesterday, when Andrew dropped me off at Vanessa's house, she asked me to tell her all the details of Friday night. I filled her in. She apologized and said that she was too drunk to remember anything. If she wasn't then she would have helped me. Even after reassuring her multiple times she still thinks that it was her fault. She wants to make up for her carelessness so I just gave up and agreed on whatever she's planning.

"I'm taking Eric in the park. Want to come?" Mom said without knocking the door and trod inside.

"No mom. You go, I'll come tomorrow. I got work to do." Please don't force me, mom, pleased-

"What is this work of your's huh? You have been locked yourself in this room since yesterday." Now I should have a better reason to give.

"Math mom, see!" I showed her my book. At first, her eyes were narrow but after looking at my book they soften.

"You really do like math. But enough of it! Now you're coming with me. Change and come down." She and her orders. She didn't even stay to hear my reply.

"Fine!" I said to know one.

The drive to the park was just 10 minutes. I'm now sitting on a bench, Eric is playing with a girl and mom is talking with some neighbors. Now Eric is chasing that girl, they both running here and there. I got up so I could keep an eye on them. I stroll a little behind them and look around. This park is just like a usual one but huge and with more sitting places. I hope this park would have a little pond in it so that I could come here often to clear my mind.

When I turned to look at Eric, he's now pulling that girl's hair. I promptly walk to them and grabbed Eric. He scowled at me but I pushed him aside to look at that girl who was crying. Before I could reach her, someone grabbed her. I looked at the boy, he was tall, having light brown hair and dark brown eyes wearing a baby pink color t-shirt and glaring at me. I frowned, why he was glaring at me? He took that girl and raised up. I did the same. Eric still has that scowl on his face.

"What did they do to you? Maya!" That boy said still glaring at me. I glared back.

"He-he..pulled my hair!" That girl said.

"Would you keep him away from her? He's bullying my sister." Bullying? Is he real?

"Excuse me? He's just a little boy maybe the same age as your sister. And we really are sorry about that." I said. Who the hell is he? And why did he called my brother a bully? I mean, he is just a little boy after all! Before he could say anything I continue. I turned to Eric.

"Eric, Say sorry to Maya!"

"It's Amaya for you." That boy corrected. I ignored him.

He doesn't say instantly but after some time he huffed and then beckoned me to put him down.

"Sorry! But she pushed me first!"

"It's okay- " I started but got cut off by my cute little naughty brother.

"No! I said sorry now she will say sorry." He looks so cute when he pouts.

"I'm sorry!" Amaya said in a small voice. She still looks cute even after crying.

When that boy put her down, Eric didn't waste any moment and walked to her. He wiped off her tears slowly. Me and that boy, now, silently watching them. Amaya smiled at him and then they both started to play again. I looked up at that boy and find him already looking at me with an apologetic expression on his face. He's scratching his back of the neck and awkwardly smiled at me. I smiled too.
