Daniel's POV

It was the day of the big homecoming game and let me tell you, he was a nervous wreck. His hair was all over the place, he has bags under his eyes, and his clothes are wrinkled and smelly.

6:05 a.m. is what the clock read sitting on his nightstand.

"Okay Jonah. You go to the bathroom and shower because you smell horrid." I tell him pulling him up from laying on his bed.

"Gee thanks" Jonah says rolling his eyes at me before grabbing a towel and walking into his bathroom, closing the door behind him.

I walk over to his closet and rummage through it, trying to find something decent for him to wear. I finally find and outfit which consists of his black Cookies shirt, black skinny jeans, and white Nike Airs.

Jonah finally got out of the shower, walking out with a towel wrapped around his waist waiting for me to hand him his outfit knowing I already have it picked out.

"Alright go change and then we'll leave" I tell him as I hand him his clothes. He nodded his head signaling he heard me, and walks back to the bathroom to change.

I run around scrambling to get all of our stuff ready. I grab my bag which already has my stuff in it and grab Jonah's putting his binder in his bag along with a few extra pencils because he always looses them. I grab his phone off the charger and hand it to him as he walks out of the bathroom.

"Thanks" He says.

"No problem. Now let's go. You have to pick up Zach and I'll get Corbina and Jack." I tell him.

"Okay I got this" He says shaking out his arms and legs getting rid of his jittery-ness as we walk down the stairs.

"You're alright Jonah. It's just a normal day. We can worry about everything later. Just focus on Zach and school and don't be suspicious or weird" I tell him pushing him out the front door to his car.

"Thanks for helping me Dani" he tells me opening his car door.

"No problem Jo. Now go pick up your boyfriend and get to school. Don't be late and I expect you to be at school before me since I'm picking up three people and you're picking up one" I tell him while I hop into the drivers side of my car.

He gives me a thumbs up before closing his door and driving away. I wait until he's down the street before I put on my seatbelt and back out of his driveway and drive to get Jack.

The drive was short. Jack and Jonah live pretty close together. Maybe a five minute drive away.

"Sup noodles" I say as he hops into the front seat with his backpack.

"Hey Dani boy. How was Jonah this morning?" He asks me while buckling his seat belt.

"He was a wreck" I tell him as I pull out of his drive way heading to Corbyn's house.

"Jonah somehow found a way to smell like he hadn't showered in days within the time span of twenty four hours. He also was a lazy ass and I had to get him out of bed, push him into the bathroom, get his clothes out, put his stuff in his bag, make sure he didn't forget his phone and to get his boyfriend. So he was a disaster actually." I tell Jack.

"Geez Daniel I didn't know how badly love can affect a tough popular jock like Jonah. Not that he was a mean person before Zach or anything." Jack tells me.

"Yeah. Before Zach, he barely let anyone in. We're lucky we got to be his friends since he was younger or else we could just be some teammates on the sports team who he doesn't even know the names of." I tell Jack truthfully.
