There once was a girl

Who wishes she could be heard

But does she want to talk about it?

Neither does she know

The story starts with an arranged marriage

A man who’s wealth was big

A daughter who had the beauty

What other choice was there?

So the man and the woman married

They tried to make amends meet

But how can you, when you know you can’t

They didn’t love each other

They didn’t try

Because they knew

They weren’t right for each other

The girl was born

She was hope

She was light

But that didn’t change the couple at all

They still fought

He made idiotic choices

And she had to follow

Then the last child came

She was a beauty

She was the family’s last hope

But sometimes hope doesn’t last as much as horror does

The father was being an asshole

The mother had no choice but to listen

The girl had no choice to observe

She wished they separated

She hoped her sister wouldn’t be caught in this mess

She wanted them to care

As time went on the father and mother forgot to care

That their oldest daughter was scared

She cut

She cried

She was alone and closed up inside

All they did was continue to fight

When you know you are the only reason your mom stayed

You’re the only reason you mom went through hell

All you want to do is smack yourself in the face

So you become hard

Rock solid

You become metal

Nothing hurts you

But even then it bothers you

Her sister was the only reason she kept a strong face

Other then that she would’ve broke down

She was alone

And she hoped she could find light

But all that time in darkness makes you forget

What it was like

She finally stopped

Cutting

Crying

And wishing

Because her parents would always fight

When can they find the light?

But hate made her grow up

She was mature

She was strong

She didn’t open up

She was alone

You see her everyday

You talk to her and think she’s all right

But little do you know

She has a past she cannot tell

There was once a girl

Who wanted to be heard

So please think twice before you mess with her

Because she’s stronger then you could ever tell
