Chapter 5

I finished up recording the covers and went out the booth to Zack. "You did amazing!" he said smiling. "thank you." I said smiling back. We kind of just stood there staring at each other. "Umm well we know you can sing these three for sure for the tour." he said sitting back down in his chair. I nodded, "but we need to make a list by tomorrow to start rehearsals." he said handing me a piece of paper and a pen.

I began thinking of some of my favorite songs to cover. Mostly all my ones from YouTube actually. I put the songs in order of how I wanted to do them. I wanted for the beginning to be very exciting and upbeat and also the last song as well.

I thought for a bit more jotting down possible set lists. Then finally in made it perfect. Since I was the only opening act I get to perform ten songs.

9. Waiting for the end by Linkin Park

I gave the list to Zack and he looked over it and nodded. "Alright most of these are covers from your YouTube so we can start rehearsing tomorrow. I'll give Greg a copy of this but you keep this one." he said getting up and going to a copier. He brought the paper back and handed it to me. "okay you are free to leave for the day," he said smiling, "you did amazing."

I got my things and went outside to see the driver and my mom waiting on me. I smiled at them and walked over getting in the car. "So how was it?" My mom asked as the car started driving off. "It was great! I recorded three covers and made my set list. Rehearsals start tomorrow!" I yelled excitedly. This is so unreal.
