I was now in the comfort of my home, ready to relax and forget about the stressful events of today.
After the bunny had spoken to me, I screamed and ran so fast to my house, my old P.E. teacher would be amazed. And mind you, I am not the most athletic person out there, so even I was surprised.
After a while of being lost in thought, I decided to take a shower before making myself dinner.
~Mini Time Skip~
After drying my hair, I walked into the kitchen and started looking through the fridge. There wasn't much, and I wasn't that hungry either, so I settled on making a sandwhich.
Thinking back to my encounter with the strays, I realized that I always walked by that alley, yet I never saw any of them before. Did they just so happened to be there? Or was that their home?
I shook the thoughts out of my head as soon as I finished making my sandwich. I also grabbed a glass of water and then headed to my small dining table.
In the middle of eating, I decided to check what the weather would be like tomorrow. So I pulled out my phone and went to the weather app.
I saw that it would be cloudy, which was nice, but realized that it was going to rain tonight. Which was weird since there weren't many clouds earlier in the day.
My mind immediately went to the strays in the alley. Would they be alright? Did they have something to protect themselves from the rain and cold?
"Jeez (Y/n)... What's gotten in to you? They're TALKING ANIMALS for crying out loud!" I told myself. But even then, I still felt bad for them.
Once I was finished eating, I put my dishes in the sink and went to my room. For a while I scrolled through my social media, but then later fell asleep.
~2:16AM~
I woke up to a scratching noise at my front door. It was the middle of the night and the rain outside was pouring, so who would be out at this time?
Slowly, I got up from my comfortable bed and made my way towards the front door. I looked through the peep hole, but saw no one. "That's odd..." I said to myself.
I opened the door, and to my surprise, the strays from the alley were in front of my door, soaked to the bone.
The German Shepherd stepped forward and spoke.
"Please let us in."
A/N:
