It's been about four days since I've seen Mikah. After our little "talk" he just didn't show his face. Luckily I had Neti who was the little girl seems to like calling me pretty lady and Oz to keep me company. They would come by with new games and treats for me to try. But I was currently sitting at the small desk reading a book that was left here. It was about a young boy trying to understand his purpose in the world. Everyone has that time when they think why am I really here. No one knows the answer right away and that's something I'm struggling with right now. In the mist of my reading there was a knock at the door. Turning around I expected Neti or Oz. But I didn't expect the guard I had an altercation with to be standing there. Guilt hit me, the way I acted towards him wasn't completely justified.

"My lady will you get dressed and come with me please." Looking at my appearance I was confused in what I was supposed to change into.

"There should be some dresses in the closet for you. Please come out when you're ready." He walked out shutting the door behind him. Not giving much of a choice I went to the bathroom to freshen up. Everything was really weird. I grew up in the outdoors, actually one with nature. But now I'm out of my element and it made me uncomfortable. Luckily I didn't have it on my agenda to get used to this. The situation was only temporary and that's what I kept telling myself. I was getting home regardless of whatever anyone else said.
After freshening up I wrapped a towel around me and opened up the closet. My mouth dropped, they called this a closet! It was like a whole other room I could actually walk around in it. Nothing but dresses and shoes of all different colors, sizes, and designs. How could anyone just just one. I knew I knew he was waiting so I had to hurry and pick. My eye caught a royal blue dress. It had a small silver belt going around the waist and it didn't look too tight. Quickly slipping it on with a pair of shoes that were with it. Taking a quick look in the mirror the dress complemented my brown skin. Turning a little to see the back I didn't know my back was on display for everyone to see. Taking my natural curly hair out of its ponytail letting it down to cover some of it. There was nothing else I could do so I walked over to the door and opened it.
He was leaning against the wall with his eyes closed. I cleared my throat and he opened his eyes. His mouth opened a little and he just looked at me. Did the dress not look good on me? Starting to feel uncomfortable I shifted. "Ummmm." He finally snapped out of it and started walking. As I followed him it felt awkward. We really didn't start off on the right foot. Finally putting my pride aside and that's not something I do on a daily basis. "I'm sorry for how we started off. I just want to go home." We approached a door and he opened it for me.

"No need to apologize. I apologize for my actions." Giving him a small smile I walked into the room and was attacked by a hug. It took me a minute to realize that it was Livia.

"Livia!" I had to stop the tears from coming. I missed her so much. Looking around I seen Bastian by the large window smiling at me. Seeing him relaxed me, he's another person I would have to apologize to. Livia let me go and I walked over to him. Before I could speak he held up hid hand.

"No need." A wave of relief hit me and I brought him in for a hug. The doors opened again and Mikah stood there with Leo and another man. I couldn't read his facial expression but the other man looked disgusted. Mikah made eye contact with me and that bubbly feelings grew in my stomach. It bothered me so much that my body reacted this way when he was around. But I'll be damned if I let him know how he effected me. We stayed having a staring contest until I finally looked away. I seriously needed to get away from him. Everything about him gave me mixed emotions and we barely talked! No matter what he or anyone else said he couldn't keep me here. I'll do anything possible to make sure of that.
