Mikah Pov

As much as it bothered me that she was that close to him I had to ignore it.

"Please have a seat." I told them. We sat at the oval shaped table with me at the head of it. From the corner of my eye I looked at the chair next to me. It was meant for Amour whenever she was ready to sit with me. We were nowhere near that point. She sat next to the girl and it brought he some relief that there was space between her and the boy.

"Let's not waste time what do you want?" Diego asked

"We would like to know your plans for her." The girls said

"I thought we established this already." Leo spoke up.

"No you just decided to take her away."

"So you would've kept her there?" He asked

"We had no choice, she could've died!" The girl went back and forth with my men and then the boy joined in on the argument. Honestly I didn't even understand why they decided to argue in the first place. It was pointless and stupid in my eyes. But I just stayed quiet not seeing any reason to say anything. Looking over to Amour she looked like she was in deep thought.
She got up and stormed out. Her friends tried to call after her but she left anyway. "I'll go talk to her." I said as I got up.

"Some good that'll do." The boy said. I turned to him and instead of replying I smirked. He looked utterly confused with the gesture. Leaving out I went to find her. I spotted her on the steps crying. When I approached her, her head snapped up and she scoffed.

"What do you want?" She asked while trying to wipe her face.

"To talk." She let out another scoff and rolled her eyes.

"Now you want to talk to me." That's interesting, she wanted me to actually talk to her.

" I am a king I have other responsibilities so I'm sorry. But if you want to talk I'm here." Without getting a response I got up to leave.

"Wait." She finally said and I sat back down. "I hate how people just talk about me like I'm not there. I'm tired of people making decisions for me like I'm a child." I knew how she felt because I've been through the same thing too many times and know the feeling all too well. I felt bad because I was doing it to her. Running my hand over my face I didn't like seeing her like this and there was only one way to fix it.

"You can go home if you want to." She looked at me confused. "I know first hand how you feel and I'm sorry for trying to control you. If you want to leave I won't stop you." What I least expected was for her to bring me in for a hug. It caught me off guard but eventually I hugged her back. Holding on to her, her scent wrapped itself around me. I started to feel dizzy. Having her this close was better than I could've imagined. I've only known her for a couple of days and she has already had an impact on me. She cleared her throats and pulled away.

"Thank you." She got up and started walking away.

"Love...sorry Amour?"

"Yes?" She turned to face me.

"You can keep the dress it suits you perfectly." It was the truth the way it showed off her curves, the blue went well with her complexion. Her exposed back was all too tempting and everything more. She was just all around beautiful and I could feel the bond trying to pull me to her. But I couldn't do that to her. I won't force this upon her no matter if it was supposed to happen. She gave me a smile and I could see the red tint on her cheeks.

"Thank you. You know I rather you did call me love." She quickly got away before I could respond. I didn't know how to go about this. Everyone expected her to stay and be here with me but that's not what she wanted. Even though I just met her, making her happy meant something to me.
Getting up from my spot I went back to the room. Her friends weren't there but Leo and Diego were. "Are you sure letting her go is a good idea?" Leo asked
"I honestly don't know."
