A/N: I'm soooooo sorry about not updating for a couple weeks. I had horrible writer's block, and I had no ideas on what to make happen next. But, I ended up figuring out the rest of the book's storyline (Haha see what I did.) after. Anyway, here's chapter 10, FINALLY.

(Ryder's POV)

The bell sounded, telling us that class was over. Students rushed to get their things together and get out the door. Today's Monday.

Hunter took me around town yesterday and introduced me to some people. I was happy to finally get to see town.

As usual, me and Hunter were the last to get our things together. As we were walking out of class, both me and Hunter ran into someone. We fell to the ground and dropped our books. Hunter and I looked at each other and laughed, remembering when we met. We quickly stopped once we remembered the other person. I looked at the other person, and instantly got worried.

Crap, it's the Principal!

"Oh my gosh, we're so sorry," Hunter apologized, while we all started to stand back up.

"It's alright. These things happen. I was actually looking for you two. Hunter's parents are here to pick you guys up," Principal Marshand said.

Me and Hunter looked at each other with confused faces, then looked back at the principal.

When we got outside, Leo and Lynette were standing outside waiting for us. Along with a woman that looked like my Dad. She has the same facial features and the same dusty blonde hair that he had.

"Ryder, this is your Aunt Kari. She's here to take you to Nashville," Lynette said.

"What? I thought she wasn't coming to get me for a few more weeks," I said, confused.

"Well... the adoption agency ended up giving us the wrong date," Leo told me.

I stood there in shock. I was going to be without Hunter. Sure, he's going to be moving to Nashville, but the Hayes haven't even found a place to live yet. It could be months. I can't be without Hunter for that long. I'll end up falling apart.

My aunt spoke up, ending the silence. "Let's get in the car and I'll explain more."

"No." I turned around and started to walk off.

"Ryder, get back here," My aunt somewhat yelled.

"No."

"Ryder, where are you going?" I heard Hunter ask.

"Somewhere she'll never find me," I replied, turning around again and pointing at my aunt, "so she can't take me away from you."

I starting walking off again. I got halfway down the street when I heard someone jogging up behind me. They grabbed my arm and turned me around. It was Hunter.

"Hunter, let go. I not going back, no matter what you say," I told him, wanting him to give up.

"Even if I say that I'm going with you."

"Really? You are? But how?" I asked.

"My parents talked to your aunt a few days ago. It was going to be a surprise that I was going with you, but you kind of gave me no choice but to tell you." He gave me a smile.

I smiled a giant smile, and threw my arms around him. He wrapped his arms around my waist. When we pulled apart, he gave me a kiss.

When we got back to the house, me and Hunter had to go pack our things as fast as we could in order to make it to the airport in time. Most of my things were still packed in a bag, so I was ready in 10 minutes. Hunter, on the other hand, had nothing packed. So, when I finished I started helping him. 20 minutes later, Hunter put the last of his things in the bag.

"Alright, we're done. Let's go tell your aunt that we're ready," he said, walking towards the door.

"Wait," I told him, "come here."

He walked over to me and sat down on the bed next to me. He looked at me. I leaned in and kissed him. He kissed back. The kiss quickly grew passionate. Hunter grabbed my waist and pulled me close. I moved from his lips to his neck. I kissed his neck a few times before going back up to his lips. We kissed for another few moments before Hunter returned the favor and kissed my neck. He moved from the front to the side, and ended up hitting my sweet spot. I flinched, causing him to stop.

"You okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, you just got my sweet spot."

"Oh, alright then."

We were about to pick up where we left off, (A/N: I did it again.) when we heard a knock on the door.

"Hurry up guys, we need to get going or we'll miss the plane," I heard my Aunt Kary tell us.

"We're just finishing up and will be out in a minute," Hunter replied.

After saying goodbye to Leo and Lynette, we put our things in the car and got on our way to the airport. The ride consisted of my aunt asking me and Hunter questions. It was a shorter drive than I thought it was. We pulled into the car rental place and dropped off the car. Then, we walked over to the terminal, getting there right on time.
