(Ryder's POV)

Hunter got a call from his dad, last week. Leo said that he and Lynette had found a house right outside of Nashville. They asked Hunter if he still wanted to move back in with them. He wasn't Sure at first, he wanted to make sure that I'd be okay by myself with Aunt Kari. I told him I'd be fine and that he should tell Leo and Lynette that he still wanted to move back in with them. He called them and told them "yes". Today is the day he's moving back in with them.

"They're here!" I hear Aunt Kary yell from downstairs.

I put my book down on the nightstand and head over to my door. Just as I open my door, Hunter opens his.

"Are you ready to see your parents for the first time in a month?" I ask him.

"I'm more than ready," Hunter says.

"Come on, let's go see them." I walk up to Hunter and grab his arm, and drag him down the stairs. As soon as his foot hits the floor of the lower story, I let go of his arm and Hunter practicly sprints to his parents. He embraces them in a group hug. I smile and catch Aunt Kari smiling outside of the corner of my eye. The Hayes' let go of each other. Lynette turns and looks at me.

"Hello, Ryder. How are you?" she asks as she gives me a hug.

"Good, I finally stopped being stubborn and went to a therapist," I said, returning the hug.

"And how's that go?" Lynette questions, while letting go of me.

"So far, so goo. I'm actually glad I agreed to go. It's been a good help."

"Well, that's great! I hope it continues to help you out."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

Lynette walks away and Leo comes over. Leo puts his arms around me, giving me a hug.

"How have you been?" he asks.

I tell him what I told Lynette.

"Good! That's great!"

Aunt Kari walked out of the kitchen and over to us.

"Leo, Lynette, would you like to stay for dinner. We're having spagetti," she asks.

"Sure, we'd love to," Leo says.

Me and Hunter were sitting on the couch together, while Lynette and Kari made dinner and Leo was cleaning and setting the table. Me and Hunter offered to help, but Lynette told us to sit down. My head was on a pillow that was on Hunter's lap. Hunter was playing with my hair with one hand, while I was playing with his callused fingers, on his other hand.

"Are you sure you'll be okay by  yourself for most of the day, Ryder?" Hunter asked me.

"I'm sure," I assured him, even though I wasn't sure.

When I'm alone, I rend to start thinking about the future and how so many things can change... for the worse.

(Hunter's POV)

I'm worried about Ryder. I'm not sure I trust her, by herself. I know most people would be okay with their girlfriend, or boyfriend, being alone, but Ryder isn't like most people's significant other; she's scared, she's half broken. The therapy's been helping a bit, but who knows what's going to happen when she's alone.

"Have you heard anything back from any of the record companies, yet?" Ryder asked me.

"Actually, I got a call from Universal Songwriting, this morning."

"And..."

"I have a meeting with them on Wednesday."

"And..."

I chuckled. "They might sign me."

Ryder's head shot up from the pillow. "Really?"

I nodded.

"Oh my goodness!"

She wrapped her arms around my neck, and gave me a hug and a quick peck. I returned the favor. When we pulled away, Ryder asked me if my parents knew.

"They don't, no. Not yet, at least, but I'm going to tell them at dinner.

**********Later**At Dinner**********

Dinner was just about over, and I still hadn't made my announcement. Ryder had given me a few looks. I almost did, a few times, but I chickened out.

My dad looked at his watch. "It's getting late. We should probably go home."

"Can I say something first?"

Everyone stopped and turned their attention to me. I stood up and pushed in my chair.

"Well, um, I talked to Universal Songwriting, and I have a meeting to talk about a writing deal, on Wednesday."

Everyone at the table, except for Ryder, gasped and the congratulated me.

A/N: This chapter was written a long time ago and my skill have since improved.

Anyway, I may or may not have changed my mind about the fanfiction thing. I re-read the story, and realized that this story still has a lot of potential. So, I am thinking about continuing this story. If I can get a few people to respond (comment or message me), so I know that people will still read the story, I will continue Saved, along with doing my Youtube scripts.
