Hey guys first off I'd like to start off with saying sorry for the long long wait for this part. For know while the school year goes on expect the long gaps between parts as I am putting schoolwork first and this at the bottom of the list. And second. Thank you all for getting this book to 5.3K reads! I never thought it would take off like this but I'm grateful. Now without further monologues I give you the long awaited, Chapter 7.

It was a day later since that message from Zan'tui's friend. I and Zan'tui were currently sitting in the living area I was slightly leaned up against the tall yautja with a cigarette on my lip. As I took a long drag I thought of how long I had been away from earth. It felt like forever already. Was the war finally over back home? Probably. Considering the shape everything was in, and how the Russians and English kept advancing every day. However it mattered not now. I didn't need to care as I wasn't there.

Zan'tui shifted slightly as I exhaled a puff of smoke. She looked to me and cocked her head. "You smoke those to try and calm yourself don't you?" She questioned, however it sounded more like a statement. "Well... Yeah, I've seen things no man should ever see, and I need them to calm my mind, and suppress those memories." I explained as I finished my cigarette and placed the butt into a small can. Zan'tui stared at me for a long moment as she was thinking. "Hmm, well maybe we should share some of our battle stories then. I have seen scars on your body and I wish to know how you acquired them." She said before shifting to face her body towards me. Currently she was in her indoor clothing. Well it wasn't much of clothing but it still covered her areas. "I mean if your comfortable with sharing them of course." She added.

I sat there for a moment before shaking my head. "No, not now... Right now I just want to rest and not think on the past." I answered as I leaned back. I looked over at Zan'tui who seemed disappointed slightly but understood and nodded. I looked at her marking on her forehead. The kind of Y shape. I studied it for a moment before shaking my head with a sigh. Leaning back I closed my eyes. Slowly I began to fall into a deep lull as I faintly felt Zan'tui stand up from the couch and walk off.

"What is wrong my child?" An old gruff voice spoke. I looked up from my knees to see my grandfather standing over me. His worn features weighing heavily on his face. I sniffled and wiped some tears from my eyes. "The boys at school make fun of me." I sobbed as I buried my face once more into my knees. The old man scoffed and slowly knelt down with some effort. "Oh really? What for?" He questioned. I looked back up at him. "They make fun of our family, and how fucked up it is!" I nearly yelled and ended up getting a slap across the face. "No cursing." He scolded to which I quickly nodded. "What did these bullies say?" He pressed for answers. "They make fun of you" I said before standing up. The old man sighed before slowly standing up and walking off. Beconing me to follow.

I hesitated before following him. We came to his shed. Walking up to it I looked the old building over. That's when I saw a tall dark figure standing behind the old man in the doorway.

"Erwin...."

"Erwin!"

I jolted up and looked around in a daze. Looking up I saw Zan'tui standing infront of me in her full gear. "What's going on?" I asked scratching the side of my head. "Well we made it to the hunting ship, and YOU need to get up and dressed. I don't want my mate looking like some ooman cleaner slave." She said as she quite literally dragged me off the couch. "Wait what?" I questioned before I was pushed into her room.

In her room I huffed before moving to my gear and began to pull it all on. I then felt a large hand pat my shoulder. I looked over my shoulder and stared up at Zan'tui. "Listen, Erwin." She started. Already I can tell this is serious. "I need to lay down some rules before we go out there." She added. I simply nodded in compliance. "Alright when we get out there, don't say anything, and stay next to me." She almost ordered. Thinking of this I sighed and nodded. "I probably won't have any idea what is going to be said out there anyways but I'll keep quiet.." Zan'tui made a sort of 'smile' and patted my head before walking off.
