1945, Germany was on its last legs as the Soviet Union was breaking down berlins door and the German Wehrmacht and SS were throwing everything they had at the red invaders. Street by street, block by block, house by house they held them off as long as they could but the noose was only tightening around their necks.

Explosions erupted as a lone German rifleman named Erwin ran into a building Panzerfaust strapped on his back. As he rounder a corner he thrusted his rifles bayonet into the gut of a Russian conscript and kicked him off. Running along the wall he came to a an opening in the building leading outside where there sat a Sat a soviet T-34-85. Quickly pulling off his panzerfaust aimed and pressing down on the tube fired the projectile sending it center mass  and hitting an ammo rack as the turret disconnected itself from the hull and flew into the air, landing onto some conscripts nearby. Dropping the tube he grabbed his kar98k and ran back the way he came.

------------

My heart was beating out of my chest as i retreated to form back up with my company. Jumping through a window I landed behind some sandbags where sat the CO who looked surprised to see me. "Good job Erwin! Now we have to move to the next street, we had a pak 40 emplacement there and we can use that to help us push back some of this damned armor!" He informed having to yell over the gunfire. I responded hastily, "Yes sir!" As I vaulted over the sandbags and moved forward. As I rushed towards the end of the street i stopped at a building that rounded the corner. Quickly my CO ran up behind me and asked me how it looked. I peeked and quickly jerked my head back, "Nein, gut. The the Pak is right around the corner, but there's a lot of Russians making their way up the street." My CO looked at me and sighed. "Get to the pak and hold them off for a minute as our troops move up to reinforce. I signed and slung my rifle over my shoulder and got on my stomach as I crawled around the corner and up to the anti tank gun. I crawled over a dead loader who held an AP shell in his hands. I stared at him for a moment before shaking my head. Slowly taking the shell from him I shoved it into the breach and moved to the gunners spot remaining undetected. Looking through the scope i slowly rotated a wheel moving the barrel to the side a little bit.  Adjusting my range a little bit I set my sights on a T-34-85 and then hit the button next to my seat and as the 75mm gun went off the shockwave came over me and it felt like a bitch slap from God.

The round screamed through the air leaving a red trail as it slammed into the Russian tank and blew its turret off. The Russians started reacting by the time I had already moved spots and had loaded another shell. Adjusting the range I fired again and the round went though lines of soldiers making them into a red mist and separating some into two.

As i grabbed another shell  from a craft next to the pak i rammed it into the breach. Bullets bounced and ricocheted off of the gun shield as i squatted down and looked through the optics. A Russian heavy tank slowly rolled through the smoke and pushed the smaller tank aside. The is-2's turret slowly looked at me and I quickly reacted and traversed the gun. And hitting the button the breach ejected the shell and the round screamed and bounced harmlessly off of the tank armor. Seeing this I almost pissed my pants knowing I fucked up. Quickly ducking and running bolted away from the pak as it exploded as the is-2 fired its 122mm cannon. I found myself flying through the air and into a hole in the side of a building, until I hit a wall and laid still on the ground.
