King POV
We finally arrived at Waffle House . I parked the car and then helped Ari outta her car seat then made sure jay got out safely and locked the doors . I held the door open for them then followed afterwards . We were instantly greeted by the smell of sweet syrup , waffles , etc . " good morning , table for 3 sir ?" The waiter asked me . I spoke good morning back to her then answered her question with a " yes ma'am ." She led us to a booth and gave us menus . " what can i start ya off to drink with this morning ?" I looked at the girls , Ari ordered apple juice like jay and I got an orange juice . She nodded her head and wrote it down on her little order taking book then asked were we ready to order yet and we'd asked her for a few more minutes . She needed her head and thanked us then took our menus and headed to get the drinks . " dwaddy you get my finga

nails paint today ?" Ari smiled sweetly asking me . I smiled at her trying to butter me up and replied to her . " yes princess , daddy's gonna get your fingers and toes painted today . " jay looked at me shaking her head cause I never say no to whatever Ari asks for . I shrugged my shoulders knowing she's right but Ari is my babygirl and gets whatever she asks for . " Mwommy you get pink like me pwease ?" Ari looked at jay waiting for an answer and of course jay agreed . After Ari heard her answer her face lit up and she began to smile . The waitress came back with our drinks and smiled s she set them in front us us with straws . " you guys ready to order , or would you like another minute ?" Ari spoke first ordering a waffle w| side orders of eggs and bacon . Jay got an all star meal with an extra waffle eggs , & bacon & I got two waffles eggs and 2 side orders of patty sausage . She quickly jotted down our orders and told us she'd be right back with the food and we thanked her .

Jay POV
King knows I'm mad at him for doing me the way he did last this morning . He didn't have to hurt me the way he did but I kind deserved it just not that much . Ari took out her phone to look at YouTube and put her headphones in . King called my name and I pulled out my phone ignoring him . " Jay I know you hear me ma , stop tripping fr " I squinted my eyes at him sending a mug his way while rolling my eyes . I then felt a sharp pain to my stomach and began to breathe heavily and king looked at me with a look of concern on his face . " aye baby you iight ? You good ma ? " I nodded my head quickly while rubbing the place where my stomach had hurt . King looked scared but I assured him I was ok . I pulled out my phone playing a game so that I could ease my mind from the pain .

King POV
Damn the way jay tensed up just now got a nigga scared . Ion want her feeling too bad cause if she feel this way ion want her out in public and shit . I keep checking on her and she say she good so we'll see . "Ma I'm sorry if I hurt you this morning I'll be more careful I'm sorry." I apologized to her hoping that's what she wanted to hear . I been tryna think of reasons why she could be mad at me and this was the only thing that came to mind . She sat her phone on the table and looked me in my eyes . " it's fine baby, honestly . I'm just hurting and you didn't care too much to notice ." I felt bad then hurting her she already pregnant and ion wanna hurt her or the babies . I picked up her hand and gently kissed it promising her that I'll be more careful and telling her again that I'm sorry . She began to blush and turn her head and that made me happy . Knowing that she's smiling again is all I ask for . The waitress came back with the food and then sat the plates on the table . We thanked her then jay told Ari to put down her phone and eat . But Mwommy it's almost oveeerrrr . Ari began to pout . "Ariane if you don't put down that phone and eat your food right NOW!" Jay semi yelled at her . Ari looked at me to save her and I looked at jay who was looking at me . " Princess just put the phone down for mommy then eat so we can get your nails painted and after we'll go shopping and get ice cream . How does that sound ? " Ari nodded her head and handed jay the phone and picked up her fork and began stuffing her mouth . Jay shook her head at Ari just knowing she'd come to me to save her cause she says I spoil her too much . I chuckled and picked up my fork also . " Spoiled ass , daddy ain't saving you next time ariane " Jay said under her breath . " We love you too baby " I said aloud letting jay know I heard what she said . She glanced at me and picked up her fork beginning to eat like the both of us . We finished eating , asked the waitress for the bill and then I handed her my black card & she came back for me to sign the receipt . The lady was so nice and I guess we all liked her service cause Ari asked me to give the lady extra money which I know she meant to tip her . Jay jones in approval . I quickly called out to the lady before she got too far away . " Excuse me miss !" The lady quickly came back thinking something was wrong . " did you want to place a to-go order ? I'm sorry sir " I smiled telling her that wasn't the problem . " Nah uh , I got something for ya " I reached in my pocket and pulled out 2 one hundred dollar bills and handed it to her . She looked amused with the money and thanked all of us happily and wishing us a blessed day . We said the same to her and she shoved the money in her apron and walked away . We gathered our things and began heading to the car so we could head to the nail salon | spa .
