The date was today. He took her on a boat, he just wanted to be able to get away with her for awhile to a place where it could just be him and her. She stood at the edge of the boat sitting across from him, "You look good today." He complimented.

"Oh really? Take a picture it'll last longer." She laughed pushing her hair back since the wind was making it get into her face. She didn't mean for him to actually pull out his phone, but he did, "What are you doing?"

"Making it last longer." He smiled snapping a few pictures of her.

After awhile she put her hand in the air blocking his phone camera, "No more."

He laughed along with her taking a seat beside her, "So what do you think about this date?"

"It's really beautiful, Austin. I don't deserve any of this." She shook her head. The crazy thing was he could see in her eyes that she really believed that.

"Are you crazy? You deserve more than this."

"If I'm being honest nothings going to top the escape room." She admitted with a smile.

"Oh yeah? And why's that?" He leaned his elbow on the edge of the boat and his head on his palm.

"A story for another time, it's totally a date runner."

"There's absolutely no way you could ruin this date." He assured her.

"Just there's a reason why I wanted to be a detective and why the dream died. But it's a story for another time."
