Cloudfall's Journey

Chapter Eleven

     Lilac spoke loudly above the crowd of cats with a stern look. "Recently, the Thunderclan camp has been attacked by Shadowclan." She turned her gaze towards the Shadowclan leader, Darkstar. "What was your reason for that?" She said with a growl rising in her throat.

     Darkstar squared up to the small black and white cat and spoke loudly, "We've been smelling your clan mates around our territory. We thought since you were to scaredy mouse to come to us, we would come to you." The smoky black cat growled back. His glare was burning into Lilacs ice blue eyes. "My cats wouldn't ever stumble upon your rats nest of a clan."

     Lilac snapped and took her seat at the other side of the leaders on the rock. "However," She continued. "I will address my clan about this just to be sure." Darkstar stomped his paw onto the rock and snarled "You and your clan think your all that!" He dug his claws into the ground. Cloudpaw guesses he was trying his best not to leap at the Thunderclan leader. Cloudpaw knew she had something's against Shadowclan but didn't know what.

      Cloudpaw felt Graypaw next to her tense up. She looked at him and saw that he was looking at the ground awkwardly. Cloudpaw licked his ear in comfort. "Don't worry," she mewed to the young cat. "Just because our clans have some problems right now, doesn't mean we have to." Cloudpaw finished in comfort. The gray tom looked at her purring. He rubbed his head against her affectionately. "Yeah." He agreed.

     As they parted, she saw Nightpaw pad away in disgust. Cloudpaw rolled her eyes and thought he's simply jealous that we are actually enjoying ourselves. Just cause we are happy doesn't me Nightpaw has to be so bitter. As the night gathering went on Cloudpaw couldn't get her mind off of how Nightpaw saw her and Graypaws moment when he was blind. Before she knew it the gathering was over.

     Lilac signaled with her tail for her cats to gather round her for head count. Before they parted Cloudpaw ran up to Graypaw. "When will I see you next?" She asked the young tom. He looked at her. "I don't know about you but I can't wait another moon to hang out so how about this half moon?" Graypaw suggested. Cloudpaw smiled at him. "I'd like that." She purred. As the Shadowclan cats were parting Graypaw laid a little nuzzle on Cloudpaw's nose. She giggled and trotted over to her clan.

     When she got over there Lilac counted her and lead the way back to camp. Cloudpaw felt an unusual satisfaction in her heart and couldn't help but smile her way there. Stormpaw then appeared out of no where next to her sister. "What in the name of Starclan did you think you were doing there!" Stormpaw exclaimed at the white cat. "I thought you said you would be quote "just friends"!" She scowled. "I know I'm sorry Stormpaw but I can't control my feelings for him!" Cloudpaw started to whimper. Before she knew it hot tears started to form in her eyes. She blinked them away but they kept coming. Stormpaw licked her sister's ear in comfort. "I don't like what your doing but, no matter what I will ALWAYS support you." The young calico promised. Cloudpaw began to wipe her tears and purred. "Thank you." She whispered. The two sisters walked all the way to camp side by side. When they returned to the camp, Shorekit ran out of the nursery up to the two apprentices.

"What happened? Did Darkstar and Lilac fight? Was there blood?" The white little kit asked in never ending questions. Grayspots appeared next to them. "No none of that. Does your mother know your outside?" Said the former queen. "N-no." Said Shorekit shuffling his paws. Grayspots smiled. "Come on I'll take you back to your mother." And with that she and the kit disappeared into the nursery.

      "I wouldn't be surprised if her became leader one day." Cloudpaw heard her sister say from a side her. "He's got enthusiasm and he's very curious." Stormpaw said with a smile. "Yeah." Cloudpaw responded back. "Come on it's late and we need to get some sleep for training tomorrow. "Yeah." Cloudpaw mewed. As they walked to their dens, Cloudpaw noticed their mentors walking into Lilacs den. What's happening???

       And that's how we close out this chapter!! Things have been almost resolved!! Next chapter I think I might make Cloudpaw and Stormpaw Warriors But idk well just have to seeeeeeeeeeee!!!
