Cloudfall's Journey

Chapter Seven

I'm at school right now as I am writing this so appreciate. I could get in trouble ;-; Yep I'm back with another chapter of Cloudfall's Journey! Just like last time, the chapter might not be finished today and new parts will be added sparingly. Sorry guys but I'm busy... Also sorry for so many time skips

      Two moons past since Cloudpaw and Stormpaw last communicated. Stormpaw was very busy with her mentor, and Cloudpaw was very busy with hers. When Stormpaw came back to camp, Cloudpaw left. She never got to talk to her sister about Goldenpaw. She wanted too but there schedules were telling them not to.

     Cloudpaw decided this was enough. In two more moons they would be full grown Warriors and Medicine cat. Then they would NEVER see each other. She woke up early one morning before anyone else. She padded softly to her sister and nuzzled her till she woke. "Leave me alone! It's so early!" She snapped at Cloudpaw. The spotted apprentice just narrowed her eyes and pulled her sister by the scruff outside. "How could you not tell me you like Goldenpaw?!"

Cloudkit shouted before covering her mouth. It was silent. Neither she cats spoke. This is taking so long! Why can't she answer me... "It's just that ever since we became apprentices, we've been spending less and less time together... I didn't feel as close to you as I used to..." Stormpaw meowed breaking the forever lasting silence. "I thought you might've judged me.." She continued shyly.

Cloudpaw felt her heart sink. "I would never do that!" Cloudpaw sympathized. "You are my younger sister. You can tell me anything and I will always listen." She finished. Stormpaw smiled slightly and said, "I'll try but it will be hard with our outing plans with our mentors. And when we become warrior and medicine cat, we will never see each other!" She reasoned with the older sister. She thought so too..

" Yes it will be hard, but when ever we get the time we can socialize. Our relationship will break again if we don't." Cloudpaw said. "Also, you and Goldenpaw are cute together" she chuckled. Stormpaw blushed darkly and said "I-I don't l-like her!" She responded shyly. She smiled and they both went back to sleep until the sun rose.

      The next morning Cloudpaw woke up to Spottedleaf running back in forth frantically in the den grabbing herbs and using them. Cloudpaw blinked away the blur in her eyes. Spottedleaf dashed up to her and said. "Thank Starclan your awake!" She breathed. "What's going on?" Cloudpaw asked before she looked outside. What she saw was absolutely horrid. Fur was flying everywhere, blood was spreading across the grass. "That's just it... WE ARE BEING ATTACKED!!" Yowled Spottedleaf.

    Cloudpaw rushed to grab some herbs. She ran to the clearing and started to place cobwebs firmly down on bleeding wounds. She rushed to get to all of the cats on the ground. As she was patching up the wound for the third to last warrior, a huge shape barreled her over. Huge claws pressed hard down on her chest. Claws unsheathed and landed through her fur and skin. Pain zipped through her body as she yowled in agony. Blood trickled down her fur as she started to tear up.

     She started to claw at her enemy, trying to push this stranger off of her. She scrabbled her claws helplessly until another shot of pain coursed through the nerves from a scratch on the stomach. All of a sudden, all the weight on her body lifted. She sat up immediately to see what just happened. Another apprentice from the clan they were fighting against, Shadowclan, barreled over her enemy. The apprentice was a gray and white tom with blue eyes and scratches across his whole body. He looked so tough against the other cat, which made her feel weak.

   It turns out that the cat who attacked her was an apprentice as well. She admired how swiftly the gray apprentice's movements were. She blushed lightly as she realized he looked at her for a glimpse. She blushed even harder in embarrassment and turned her head away. At that moment the other apprentice, a black tom with yellow clouded eyes, changed positions with the gray cat and scratched him across the cheek. The gray apprentice fell to the ground as the blood spilled over the grass.

     Cloudpaw gasped in shock. Without thinking she rushed towards the two and yowled "LEAVE HIM ALONE!!" The black apprentice looked up at the sky. He was blind, obvious to the eye, but his hearing was really good! He heard her paws pounding against the grass. She jumped on him and gave him small scratches against the flank and torso. The blind cat pushed her away with his back paws with such force that she pounded against a tree. Woah! She thought this cat is tough!!

    At that same moment, the night colored apprentice jumped on her and landed his paws on her throat. She started to choke uncontrollably, losing breath within every cough. Blood started to rise from her throat and spurted out of her mouth. Things around her started to spin around. Her eyes became heavy as she felt her death around the corner. As she started to close her eyes, she heard hissing and yowling from in front of her. Then it was all black. The claws on her throat where gone, but she was in too much pain to move...

Eeeeeffff juiceyyy!!! Yes if you know me, these new characters are Nightpaw (Nightclaw) and Graypaw (Grayfeather) from things lol. No spoilers!! Gonna learn what happens soon enough
