What is it general.

There is a massive covenant force that we are picking up on our radar we have already sent out a small force to investigate but they haven't responded so we need your team to find our troopers and figure out what the hell it is.

We saw two planets. One seemed forerunner and the other seemed organic. The organic one was oval shaped with deserts and grasslands. The forerunner one was egg shaped but it seemed to be in tiers or stacked flat layers of land one on top of the other all connected by massive pillars. Each tier appeared to have life on them with grasslands and tundras.

Holy shit what the hell are those, Tuck are you seeing this.

I see them Sun and one appears to be a planet the other I have no idea.

They are talking about the planets. They say that the forerunner planet is a massive murder weapon capable of destroying thousands organic life that get caught in its laser beam like the halo rings but with a controlled beam of light that kills plants and animals including us. They are building it to destroy humans and the...flood. To get the races to go along with it they revived the religion of the great journey. It's called the gauntlet and the planet next to it is called Pathara it is a planet housing the control station for this weapon.

Oh shit lieutenant we got 20 plus phantoms on our six ready to... with that the phantoms fired on our vulture sending forward to get away from them . We began to get pulled Into the gauntlet's atmosphere. Half way through the atmosphere we began taking heavy damage. Me Tim Stacy and Sun were ejected sent hurdling down towards the bottom tier of the gauntlet. Everything began to fade to black.
