I woke up a few hours later in a forest. I was surrounded by metal parts from the vulture. I was also surrounded by a ma5 assault rifle and a magnum. I grab my gear and began walking. My grey and blue armor was a bit charred because of the atmosphere but it was functioning well. As I made it out of the forest I looked up to see the forge holding her own on against the covenant. I kept trying to reach my squad members or any unsc operatives. I stopped walking in a secure cave to rest. I began to fall asleep dreaming of memories of the past. I was awoken by the sound of a voice.

Spartan can you hear me WAKE UP.

As I shot up in surprise I saw an AI. This AI appeared to resemble a woman in a thin slender robe that had loose sleeves. She had shoulder length hair and faint shadows around her eyes. She had white and cyan glow around her. She also had a high pitched voice almost like what a fairy or pixie would sound like. I could tell she was a recently activated AI.

Are you here to rescue alpha squad spartan cause you're a little late. I looked behind her and saw 5 dead odst troopers. I could tell they had been there awhile because cracks in their armor I could see bone and decayed flesh.

They were made of gooey tan substance and had sprigs that stuck out of their heads with red feather or fur on them. They varied in appearance some looked like brutes, some looked like elites. Some looked like marines, then there these original designs like these spidery ones and big ones with one giant arm. They didn't notice us because the smell of the cave and the darkness.

That is what they call the flood Mr Levall. They are a parasite that date back to a millennium ago. They infect a host with there spores taking control of their minds and bodies consuming their knowledge. They were said to have bee. Eliminated back in 2554 with the destruction of the ark but some how they have returned.
