Roll of the dice

It's not hard to mess with a kid's mind and change what they know is right and wrong. Show them a few murders, tell them the flaws of heroes, praise them as they go down the road you want them to go down, and let their minds do the rest.

That is how young Izuku was raised.

Since he was kidnapped, the league of villains showed him dead bodies and showed him the bad side of heroes. When he reached ten, they decided to take him along to their small missions like robbing and quick murders. At thirteen, he helped with the small stuff in their missions as a distraction and kidnapper. By fourteen, he was able to do the killing and robbing using his mastered quirk.Roll of the dice is what they called it.

He was a well-feared villain in the city Known as "The Dicer". He was well known for his green and black suit and crimson red eyes. In his few years of being a villain, he has encountered a few heroes; like Kamui Woods, Present Mic, Endeavor, Eraser Head, and All Might, and he's outsmarted everyone in them making him the most wanted villain.

Now here he was, limping to the front of the gates of U.A. Izuku felt so small looking up at the tall gates. He felt like a kid again.

His thoughts were cut short by a sharp pain from a broken arm. He bit into his lip to keep from crying out and limped to the gates and banged on them with his good hand before sliding down the wall with a sigh.

Just as he heard footsteps, Midoriya noticed his vision blur and darken. He couldn't help but let out a soft laugh

"Maybe they got too carried away with the beating" he joked before passing out.

"a green-haired teen was found yesterday at U.A by a teacher and was immediately brought to a hospital where they are treating his wounds. Different reports are saying that the boy found could be the missing child from ten gears ago, Izuku Midoriya"

Midoriya let out a frustrated sigh and turned off the TV.

As if on cue, the room door slammed open startling the teen who immediately jumped out of his bed and reached to his back pocket, where his knife would usually be there, only to grab empty space.

"Izuku!"

The Green haired boy was brought into a tight but careful hug.

Deku wasn't usually the one to be at a loss for words, but right now, nothing could leave his mouth. Except for one.

"mom?" those words seemed so foreign to him. The closest thing he had to a parent was Shigaraki, but even then, Izuku stopped calling him "dad" after he was eleven.

Now here he was, slowly wrapping his arms around his mother who refused to let him go as if she was scared he would disappear again, Izuku didn't blame her, she had every right to have that fear.

Once Midoriya was healed enough to leave the hospital, he was questioned by multiple police and heroes.

"where were you kept?"

"I can't remember, I was barely let out during my time there. All I know is that it was like a warehouse inside"

"can you recognize the faces of your kidnappers?"

"they all wore weird masks and black hoodies I couldn't see anything" Izuku's voice cracked and he looked down at the table.

"how did you escape?"

"when I was seven, they forcefully gave me a quirk, and when I learned how to use it to its best potential...I used it against them and ran while they were caught by surprise" Midoriya let tears fall down his face before he looking back up and the authorities.

The group talked among themselves for a few minutes casting glances at him every few seconds.

"thank you Izuku, you may go"

"mom..."

The rest of the day had been very awkward and tense with his mother. They barely spoke to each other unsure of what to say. What was he supposed to tell him, mom?

Hey mom while you were crying about me, I was out learning to become the greatest villain. No!

Inko glanced up at her son with slight worry "yes?"

Izuku looked at the floor "the exams to get into U. A is tomorrow, and I was wondering if I could try out..."

"b-but Izuku-"

"mom I have to! Please, it's the only way I can find those people who did this to me" tears streamed down Izuku's cheeks.

There was a long suffocating silence before his mom sighed in defeat "fine you can go, but come back immediately and stay safe"

Izuku smiled brightly at his mom and pulled her into a tight hug "thank you, mom! I promise I'll be safe!"

And with that, Izuku quickly ran to his room to prepare for the exams.
