Roll of the dice

Uhhh...news...?

So I won't be updating this week or next week due to me writing a short story for when I'm at vacation and won't be able to update.

So have these two rejected plots that I was going to use for this book. Neither of them are finished since I scrapped them before I could hopped, but I can tell y'all how it was going to work out kinda?

Rejected #1

Deku stood at the edge of the building ledge closing his eyes and deeply inhaled as he felt the breeze blow against him.

His shoes safely sat on the other side of the rails with a small note tucked carefully inside one of them.

Slowly, izuku opened his eyes and glanced down to the sidewalk once again, the light gray concrete calling his name, urging him on.

You're useless
You'll never be a hero
Go Swan dive off a roof
Quirkless

Over to his left, Izuku could see the small fountain where his book floated, burnt and soaked, months of writing thrown away just like that.

Today was the day he snapped. After class, he had made his way to the school roof avoiding Kacchan as best as possible and got everything ready.

A jump from here can be a hit or miss (I guess they never miss huh?) if he landed right, he'd die instantly, land wrong and he'll die slowly and painfully, or be sent to the hospital where he'll be placed in a mental facility.

Lucky for him, he was a smart thinker so everything would go as planned for him.

"goodbye, mom... Goodbye Kacchan" Midoriya breathed out and released his grip from the railing and leaned forward.

Just then, a hand grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

"let go of me!" Midoriya screamed and thrashed in his captor's grip to no avail.

"shhh. Everything will be fine" the person assured him and a cloth was placed over his face and everything went black.

Midoriya woke in a dim room, the metal cuffs around his hands soon became noticeable, and when he tried to stand, he realized that another pair of cuffs around his ankles became known to him.

"you're awake"

Midoriya snapped his head up to where the voice was coming from.

"who are you? Where am I? Why am I cuffed?" Midoriya started asking all the questions he had in a panic

"I'm your savior, you're in a secret hideout, and I cuffed you so you don't try to kill yourself again"

"my mom will get worried and call the cops, they're going to find me and jail you" Midoriya warned from where he sat a training bus eyes to attempt to see what the person looked like.

"I suppose you will get found, but that's only if someone is actually looking for you since I left your situation and where to find you on the back of your suicide note." he lied

Midoriya stared at the person wide-eyed. "h-how long have I been out?"

"three days"

Izuku's World came crashing down at that point. Three days? Someone should've already found him. He should be waking up in a hospital or something, not a dark and dirty room like this.

"You would think that someone who wanted to end their life would be already thought that no one would care. So why are you shocked at the fact that no one came looking for you?"

"s-shut up!" Izuku Yelled

Ok so for this plot, the League of villains (or Shigaraki to be more exact) saved Midoriya from killing himself and are trying to convince him that no one cared about him being gone to turn him onto their side.

After a few weeks of being held captive in the small room and being fed such lies, he believes it, accepts Anaheim from All for One and becomes a member of the group only as a scapegoat.

"I only keep him around because I know that he wants to die so he'd lay down his life anytime we're back into a wall. He's nothing more than a tool"

Is what Shigaraki says to another villain.

And then give him a few years of villainy and he crosses paths with Bakugo which introduces him into the story and how he and Inko reacted to Midoriya's disappearance and how he copes with it now.

Few chapters later they properly meet and Bakugo tells Midoriya about what really happened.

Midoriya realized his mistake and ends up throwing himself off the building he was fighting Katsuki on killing him.

But I scrapped it because I'm making a "depressed Midoriya" Au, and I had just killed off Izuku in my previous book and I didn't want my books to be repetitive so I had to get rid of that.

Rejected #2

Isn't it funny how the things you want to forget the most never leaves your mind? Makes you just want to slam your head into a wall repeatedly until you forget, right? Yea I know how you feel. But it just never leaves no matter how much you want it to.

Where are my manners? My name is Izuku Midoriya, mostly known as Deku, and the story I'm about to tell you is about how I ended up becoming the most powerful villain against my own will.

Let's start from the beginning.

Izuku had just finished up training with All Might. Izuku hummed in happiness as he proudly walked back home excited to tell him, mom, how training went today.

While in his thoughts, Midoriya bumped into a stranger casing him to fall back. "i-I'm sorry!" Izuku gasped as he quickly stood up.

The person in the hoodie let out a creepy laugh which left Izuku on edge and he continued walking by.

Midoriya couldn't help but stare at the person as they whistled a weird song.

Izuku shook his head and kept walking home ignoring the feeling of dread that started creeping up on him.

The rest of the walk home consisted of continuous glances behind him everytime he heard a small shuffle or footsteps behind him only to be met with empty space every time.

Once home, Izuku rushed to close his door and fell onto the living room couch.

"Izuku! Welcome home!"

Izuku said his hellos and helped his mom with dinner.

The rest of the night went on as usual, which Izuku was glad of.

The next day, however, wasn't as exciting as he had hoped.

So for this plot, Midoriya meets all Might and gains his power like usual, but the villains learn about Izuku being the successor of One for All and force him to work on their side by threatening his mother and friends if he didn't listen.

So he works for them by giving them information all the heroes he's learned about but some of it is fake which causes them to get pissed and attack the USJ to show midoriya that they mean business.

Then a few chapters later, once they have everything they need, they attack the school and force midoriya to out himself as a traitor bringing the class to shambles

"one would rather die than feel the pain of betrayal"

Is a quote either all might or Bakugo would've said to him after an intense battle somewhere in the future which brings him to his breaking point and he cries his whole story to the person before turning against the villains beating them and either turning himself in, or running away and living in the shadows of the city meeting Bakugo or todoroki every now and then.

And that's it.
