jungkook is back to work.

a week has passed and everything is dull. the camera footage from the library magically disappeared from their servers and the underground place showed no familiar face for the past few days.

and jungkook hates it but he hates himself more for hating his situation when he knows himself that he's not going all-out yet.

so he's going to.

he takes out his pad and a pen, writing BASICS on the top line and biting his lip.

Z Nefari = meaning unknown but most probably derived from the term "Nefarious" meaning evil.

Origin unknown, along with number of members and base of operations.

Clues available:
1. Bhuwakul
2. Kryptonite

Associated events (relevant):

1. Crown Consolidated poisoning. Used an unknown drug in guests' drinks and left zero survivors out of the 54 VIP guests.

2. Black Market operations.

3. Drug transactions in Europe, Asia and America.

4. Hacked all the NYC Times Square billboards to leak identities of Gore; a fellow gang now in custody.

5. Busan Ril Bombing.

He draws multiple lines beneath number five.

Jungkook opens their database on his computer and rescanned the files on all five of his list.

Nothing.

The boy searches for anything Thailand related on their data, given 'Bhuwakul' but all he found was Fuerdo, a most-wanted criminal that robbed the biggest Thailand bank and got away with it.

They didnt have much about him nor his people either, but they do have a convict named Chalermchai whom they believed was a member, but who also cut his tongue so that he wouldnt be able to confess or deny anything.

He was also from Thailand. What if it's connected?

he calls the prison and arranges the meeting with the inmate, though his hopes went down went he found out that they already questioned him for possible connections. Still, it wouldnt hurt to try.

he arrived at the location and sighs, waiting at the interrogation room.

the man enters. he looks old, with sleeve tattoos and white hair. his lips are pale, and jungkook shivers at the thought of not having a tongue.

once the man is seated, he introduced himself and bites his upper lip when he receives a blank look.

"Do you know a Bhuwakul?"

Same look.

"Are you Bhuwakul?"

Again, with the look.

"Am I Bhuwakul?"

No effect.

"Is he someone close to you?"

Jungkook continues, taking out his papers.

"It says here that you had a son. now deceased though, but this is just ink on a paper. should i even believe this?"

Jungkook didn't spare him a look, knowing he's not fired up yet.

"You ever wonder where he is now? if he ended up like you? but if this is actually true then hes fortunate to find himself in a casket rather than exist in a world where youre breathing. Because boy," Jungkook widens his eyes and stretches his lips, "Thats what i would want if I was him."

Jungkook pretends to think, "Was he proud of you? did he want to be like you when he grows up? because my dad is a forensic analyst and there was nothing I wanted more than to be like him."

He sighs in satisfaction, "I mightve swayed a little from his path but at least he's proud of me. Are you proud of him? did you even get the chance to be?"

Its still the same blank look, but he's now leaning on the back support of the chair, slumped. thats something.

"Im sorry for your loss, anyhow."

He gathers his papers and places them back on his things.

"But im going to get this Bhuwakul," he stands up with his things, "and im going to get him good."

He knocks on the doors for the guards to enter and get the man.

"and if youre confident that im not going to get this guy or this gang because nobody ever did," he says directly on his ear, "they never had me on this before."

jungkook leaves the station with more information when he entered.

he was never sure about the son thing, but with his experience, he's learned to explore even the farthest possibilities. plus, it was too big of a coincidence for those two to be related to the biggest criminals. even if not connected, they mustve known each other or someone who knows the other.

whatever, anything.

Jungkook books a flight to Thailand.
