JOANNA WASN'T sure how much time had passed since she had died. Time didn't seem to really exist in that house. Every day eventually blurred into one until it all felt the same. The only thing that had been different were the different faces she would see. Different families moved into the house, none living to telling their tale about the infamous murder house. Joanna would try to help and warn them but it wouldn't work. And Joanna would have to watch as another innocent victim's life would be claimed by the infamous murder house.
But Joanna hadn't been too sad about it all. She'd be comforted by her brother, Tate, but Joanna wasn't stupid. She knew that he had a part in it all. But a part of her was still in denial that her brother could be capable of such evil. Joanna knew it deep down in her heart but she certainly didn't want to believe it. What she wanted to believe was that she could save him.
At least, that's what she used to feel. Until she watched him murder the gay couple that had moved in here. She couldn't directly know for sure since the killer had been disguised. Call it a freaky twin thing but Joanna just knew it was him. Of course, he had initially denied it and wouldn't fess up but Joanna knew better.
Their relationship changed after that. They were somewhat closed but Joanna looked at him a bit differently now.
You'd usually find the Langdon girl exploring the halls of the home despite the fact that she had already explored them numerous times. There wasn't much to do, seeing as no one had moved into the house for quite some times. No one would be dumb enough to move into the murder house. But that meant that Joanna was quite lonely. If she wasn't following behind Tate, she'd be either talking with her other sister, Addie, or exploring like she was currently doing now.
