CHAPTER THREE,
THE DEVIL.
JOANNA AND VIOLET'S previous encounter seemed to have been forgiven and forgotten, the two seeming to become friends shortly after wards. Joanna was completely enamored by Violet, the girl more beautiful than any one Joanna had ever met before. Her smile stayed in Joanna's thoughts long after Joanna would disappear and her eyes were the most gorgeous shade of hazel Joanna had ever seen. Joanna had suddenly found her muse all over again, drawing Violet whenever she got the free chance to. She made sure Tate wasn't around to see it all, Joanna unsure of what he would do if he found them.
Tate seemed to be hanging around Violet as well, tagging along and stealing Violet's attention. Joanna felt herself growing jealous and hateful towards Tate. He knew that she liked her, he teased her about it often. And Joanna was convinced that he was going after Violet just because she was.
The twins were currently in Violet's bedroom, listening to Violet rant about a girl named Leah who kept on bullying her at school. It reminded Joanna of what she had went through.
"I hate her," Violet remarked as she paced back and forth, "I just want to kill her!"
"Then do it! One less high school bitch making the lives of the less fortunate more tolerable is, in my opinion, a public service," Tate responded, causing Joanna to glare at him.
He couldn't be seriously promoting murder, could he?
"Look, you want her to leave you alone? Stop making your life a living hell? Short of killing her, there's only one solution. Scare her. Make her afraid of you. It's the only thing bullies react to," Tate continued.
