A friend or just Cole?

I was woken up when Skylor shook me. "W-wha?" I sat up and looked at Skylor. "My friends are soon here, I thought it was best if I woke you up before they came." I nodded, "Yeah, thank you." She smiled and went back to work. I sat up straight and thought about stuff. One thing is clear, my name is Kai. And that girl is Skylor. But who the other names were was still a mystery to me. I heard the sound of the door and tried to listen to what they said. "Hey, Skylor. You called and said that it was important." "Yeah, but I was hoping all of you would come. I'm not sure he trusts me fully." "Wait, what? Who are you talking about?" "I show you." I heard footsteps getting closer and put my head down to make it look like I wasn't listening. I glanced to the side and saw Skylor's orange shoes and a pair of black sneakers. "K-Kai?" It was a male's voice. It was kinda deep but not deep enough to be an adult. I looked up and was met with a boy in about my age. He had dark brown eyes and black messy hair. He was wearing a black hoodie and grey pants. An image of this boy flashed before my eyes. I knew him. "Who are you?" The boy's face turned just as confused as Skylor's had done. "What do you mean?" "Cole, I should have told you. He has lost his memory." The boy, whose name was Cole turned his head to Skylor, "Yes, you should have told me. How are we going to fix this?" "I don't know, that's why I hoped you all would come here, you could maybe have fixed it." The door opened again and I peaked out from my table stall and my heart skipped a beat. Mark had found me. I stood up and backed away from Mark. Unfortaly for me, he saw me. "There you are. Now how about we do this the easy way." I shook my head and kept backing away. Cole saw the horror written on my face and understood that I didn't like this man. He stepped in front of me and took a protective stance, "I don't know who you are, but my friend doesn't seem to like you, so I ask you to leave him alone." Mark chuckled, "I just want to help your friend. He's just overreacting. I didn't do anything to him." "You wanted me to stay in your house and when I left you chased me all over town, plus I've had this bad feeling around you ever since I woke up!" I shouted and felt my hands getting warmer. Mark turned angry. "See, he doesn't want to be near you. So leave him alone." Cole didn't move an inch. He was not going to let Mark anywhere near me. Mark chuckled and grabbed Cole's shirt collar and lifted him up. "You give me no choice Kai. Come with me and I'll spare your friend." I don't know why but the thought of Cole getting hurt made my heart hurt. "F-fine. I'll come with you. Just please don't hurt him." Mark smirked at me, "Good choice Kai." He put down Cole and walked towards the door. I followed quietly. Before I walked out the door I turned my head to Cole and Skylor. I mouthed sorry and then left.

When we came back to Mark's house/mansion he sent me to my room. I was surprised that I didn't get a punishment but I didn't argue with it. I lied on my bed and just stared at the ceiling.

Cole's POV

I flew to the bounty as fast as my dragon could. The wind whistled by my ears as I roared through the sky. I landed on the bounty and ran inside. I found everyone in the living room. Nya was sad about the news about Kai and had barely left her room so I was surprised to see her out of her room. Lloyd walked up to me, "Cole, what did Skylor want?" I caught my breath and stood up straight, "Skylor had a good reason for calling and she had hoped we all would come and now I understand why. Kai is alive." Everyone stopped with whatever they were doing and stared at me. "Cole that's impossible. We all saw Kai fall down that cliff." "I know Zane, but I saw him with my own eyes. He's alive. He has lost his memories but is alive." "If that is the case then why didn't you bring him here?" "Because a man came and forced Kai to go with him." "Cole, are you making this up?" "No, I'm not. I even put a tracker on Kai to prove it." "You did?" I let out a groan and ran to the control bridge. I could hear the others running after me. I got to the control bridge and opened the map that showed the tracker. A gasp was heard from behind me, I turned around and was met with Nya's tear-filled eyes. "Nya, trust me, I'm telling the truth." She smiled, "I know, I'm crying tears of joy. Kai is alive."

A/N Okay just a quick note. This thing with that it was someone else's POV than Kai was probably a one-time thing in this story. I did it because it needed to be done, and I currently had no idea on how to move time for Kai.
