I opened the door to find my brother and my father sitting on the couch watching some cartoon, dad's arm is slung around Jungkook pulling him close. My heart drop and I began to panic.
I walked farther into the room making my presence known. Kookie looked up first, he jumped out of our father's arms into mine. "hyung your finally home". His smile was from ear to ear. "Yeah...why are you home so early? I looked up eyeing dad. He had a sick smirk on his face. "Dad picked me up from school ". I looked back down at Jungkook. "He said he went away to get me my gift but I have to wait until later to get it". I looked up with panic in my eyes, and his smirk only grew. He knows exactly what he's doing.
"Hey kookie do me a favor and take my bag upstairs, oh and Jimin left a present for you in there". Jungkook cheered grabbed the bag and ran up the stairs.
I whipped my head around to look at my father, his eyes meeting mine. "What ~gift~ are you giving kook later" my voice filled with concern.
"Don't worry baby boy I'm not gonna touch him." He let out a breathy laugh. I shivered at the nickname but was glad kookie gonna be okay. "Then what gift are you talking about?" Tilting my head to the side.
"A buddy of mine got some tickets for a BigBang concert a little outside of Seoul and I wanted to surprise him." I was completely stunned. How did he know kookie liked BigBang. Why is he being so nice? As if he can read my mind he laughed.
"My friend has a kid around Jungkook's age and he likes that group so I figured so would Jungkook. He shrugged like it was nothing. I scoffed at the thought of him being a parent. I pushed off the wall when his hand stopped me.
when did he get off the couch?
"We're gonna finish what we started a few days ago." I snatched my arm from his grip. I made my way upstairs my mind wondering what happened to our loving father.
