Hoseok POV
I left the boys in the yard to play, walking in to the house I can see my dad had left. I shouldn't be surprised but I hoped that maybe he'll stay for kooks birthday. On the table were four tickets to the concert. I checked the time, the concert starts at 9 and it was only 5:30.
Picking up the tickets I made my way out the house to surprise kookie. Standing outside was Kookie, Woozi and Woozi's brother...wait what. I stood there frozen with my mouth wide open. I was brought back to reality by a bee flying down my throat. The sound of me dying must have caught their attention because I could feel kooks hand beating my back. A water bottle was shoved into my hands. I finally came down from my choking attack when a deep voice asked " don't we have class together?
" Hoseok but you already knew that." I greeted embarrassed. "Yoongi" he stuck his hand out. I took it and blushed. "Nice to officially meet you." Turning from the awkward exchange my eyes found kook. "okay kookie you ready for the grand Finale, close your eyes." He complied and I placed the tickets in his hands. "okay open."
"WOAH BIG BANG NO WAY!!" Jungkook and Woozi are screaming and jumping in circles. Jungkook came running to me. "is this a prank." I ruffled his hair and chuckled. "no kook we're really going and woozi if he wants." Woozi ran to his brother with a pout. "not up to me kid" Yoongi shrugged.
"I have enough tickets for all of us to go." I answered . " is dad coming too Hyung?" Kookie asked. "um he had something to do but he said happy birthday." I answered sadly. I hope he stays away for a while. " alright well its 5:50 so we better start heading out. We're gonna grab some stuff meet here in 10 mins?" I asked the min brothers.
In The House...
"okay kookie we're just gonna grab our jackets and a snack, then we can head out." I walked thru the door way to the kitchen. "hey hyung." I hear. "yeah kook." I open the fridge looking for something to snack on. "does dad love us?" I stopped all movement. " of course he does kook." I turned to look at him. "then how come he's never here anymore, and when he is here he hurts you." my mouth opened but no words were coming out, while tears starting to burn my eyes. " I'm sorry hyung I didn't mean to make you cry." Jungkook wrapped his small arms around me. I quickly wiped my face and held him close. "no no hyung is sorry. You don't ever have to worry if dad loves you or not because mom and I love you to the moon and back 100x. She's watching us right now and is wishing you the best birthday ever. I kissed the top of his head. " I love you so much kookie. Your my universe. I held him to my heart for a min.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
" time to go kook, can you grab our jackets and meet me by the door." while he ran off to do that I took in a deep breathe, grabbing some snack and water. " I miss you mom." I made my way to the front, Jungkook waiting for me by the door with woozi and Yoongi. " okay let's go" I locked the door behind me. " so I'm guessing we're gonna take my car." Yoongi voiced. " if you don't mind." I replied shyly. With that being said we all piled up in the oldest min brothers car.
