An/ Idk how often I'm gonna update or where this story's going but...

Walking into the school gate distracted by his thoughts Hoseok didn't notice his friends calling his name. It was until he got a tap on his shoulder that he was pulled out his trance. Turning around he saw his group of best friends looking at him worried. They could tell something was wrong by the expression on his face.

" hey you alright man" Namjoon one of the closest to Hoseok out the group asked.
"Yeah sorry just thinking about the math test we got today" Hoseok answered looking down. He hate lying to his friends but he didn't want them to find out about his dad or his problems . He didn't want them to pity him or stop being his friend.

" oh shit I forgot about that" Even tho he's one of the smartest out the group Namjoon often forgets about things easily.

Laughing quietly the group made their way inside the school building as the bell rang. Separating, the group made their way to their classes agreeing to meet at lunch.

"Are you sure your okay" seokjin asked. "Yeah I'm fine" Hoseok smiled but it didn't reached his eyes. Jin noticed and hugged Hoseok telling him he could talk to him and the group about anything before walking to his class.

Hoseok signed, he knew he could trust his friends but he didn't want to drag them into anything.

*Time skip to lunch*

" Guys so I was thinking we could go to my house and hang out, my parents are going out tonight and my sister is going to her friends house so I'm gonna have the house all to myself" an excited Taehyung explained. The group nodded in agreement but Hoseok. He had to go home to jungkook, he didn't trust his dad around him not knowing what he'll do while drunk. " sorry guys I can't I gotta babysit my brother tonight"

" oh come on Hoseok we haven't hung out with you for so long" jimin pouted. " I'm sorry but I got you next time"

" you always say that" he heard someone mutter.

And it's true he does but his brothers safety come before his happiness any day.

*time skip to home*

He was running late getting home. He lost track of time talking to his friends. Before he knew it the time hit 5 meaning his brother was home from school and was alone with his father. Running as fast as he could he made his way down the road to his house. Once he got to the front he could hear his dad yelling. Without hesitation he swung the front door open to find....

An/ okay so first i want to say sorry this may be bad... for the group ages and grades... Taehyung and jimin are in 10th....Hoseok and namjoon is in 11th but namjoon has some 12th grade classes... and Yoongi and Jin are in 12.... I might add some other characters but for now this is it....idk it I'm going to make Yoongi and Hoseok friends I'm still deciding if this is going to be a sope story or not but we'll see...tell me what you think...hope you enjoyed😇
