"I try to hide my feelings and identity, even if it hurts."
I am sitting in my office, going through a few papers a worker gave me as I was leaving before Jungkook saw me with Seokjin. I am sure Seokjin probably told him about me. Now I only had to act as Jina. I sighed, getting startled after hearing a knock on my office's door. "May I come in?" I heard Jungkook say, my eyes widening as I ran a hand through my hair.
"Come in!" I called out after getting up, smiling softly as I saw the door open a bit. Jungkook entered after looking inside and seeing me there, his eyes slightly wide as he stared at me. I gulped softly as I stared back at him, finally getting the courage to talk to him as my heart slammed against my chest.
"H-Hey, Jungkook. Long time no see." I said, smiling softly as he went towards me. "Jina..." He said softly, staring at me in disbelief. "It really has been long. 4 years, right?" I nodded in response, looking down with a sigh. "Yes, 4 years. I'm sorry I left all of a sudden. I wanted you and J- Y/n to have a calm life together. I also wanted to find a job away from Korea." She said.
"Oh, heh... I... I missed you though. I mean, Y/n is fine, but, she is different now. She changed when we got married and you left. You didn't even come to our wedding." He said with a pout. I giggled and looked down, feeling my heart sting a bit, "I am sorry that I didn't go." I replied.
Jungkook smiled and chuckled, "It's fine. Were you busy, by the way? I'm sorry if I interrupted something." He said, watching me as I chuckled back. "It's fine. Just doing some paperwork." I replied, letting a smile grow on my lips. He nodded and cleared his throat, "Would you um... like to go have lunch with me?" He asked shyly, staring at me as I stared back.
"I would love to. But, I need to ask Seokjin." I said, "You can go." A man's voice said from behind Jungkook, the two of us looking at the person. "Oh, Jin, hi," I said with a giggle. Jungkook also smiled at him, waving at him. "You can go with him. You should get some rest and spend some time outside, you work too hard." He said with a smile, walking away towards his office.
Jungkook then turned to me again, stretching his hand out for me with a smile. "I guess you're coming then." He said, my lips turning into a bigger smile while I went to him, taking his hand after.

As we entered the little cafeteria that was also a tiny restaurant, my eyes widened. "You still remember it?!" I exclaimed as Jungkook turned to look at me with a smile. "You know the place as well?" He asked back confused, looking at me with furrowed eyebrows.
Goddammit, Y/n!
"I-I mean. You used to come with Y/n a lot before. I didn't think you'll still remember." I stuttered slightly while clearing my throat, looking away. He chuckled softly at my sudden nervousness, oblivious of the reason. "I am surprised you remember." He replied, walking toward the counter as I followed behind.
"Can I get the usual?" He asked, seeing the girl nod as she turned to me, her eyes suddenly widening. "Y/n?!" She exclaimed, going around the counter and running to me, embracing me in a hug after. I widened my eyes as well, getting nervous again as I thought she'll blow my cover. "Sooji, it's not Y/n. That's Jina." Jungkook said with a chuckle, pulling her away slightly as she narrowed her eyes.
"Are you sure? She looks exactly like Y/-" "I am married to her. I know perfectly well how to distinguish Y/n and Jina." I snorted quietly at his comment, "Distinguish my foot." I whispered under my breath. "Did you say something?" Sooji asked, the two of them staring at me with confused looks as he held her arm gently. "Ah, no," I said with a soft giggle.
Jungkook narrowed his eyes a bit, seeming to know something. I gulped a bit, looking back at Sooji. "S-Sooji, can I get the eggs, toast and salad breakfast?" I asked, Jungkook's eyes widening a bit as he let go of Sooji who just nodded. "How do you know that breakfast?" He asked in slight disbelief.
"What do you mean?" I asked with a slight tilt of my head. I tried to act dumb, not knowing what he was talking about. But he knew perfectly well that it was my favorite breakfast here. I was totally not good at acting as Jina, I have to make my own research on her personality and change myself.
"Y/n's favorite breakfast. She stopped eating it after we got married but you still remember it, even though you have been gone for 4 years." He said, looking at me with narrowed eyes. "I-I tried it once and liked it. I also saw it on the board there and wanted to eat i-it." I stuttered slightly, cursing in my mind as he looked up at the board and his eyes turned back to normal.
He blushed slightly and cleared his throat, looking down in embarrassment. "I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me." He said with a nervous giggle. I snorted and looked down.
"That you've forgotten who Y/n actually is."
