The trainride to Tulsa was peaceful for the most part. I fell asleep pretty quickly once I boarded. Though I fell straight on my back when the train hit a bump. Other than that it was okay.

I was just overjoyed about seeing Dally. Being away from your brother for 4 years really does take a toll on you. Being away from anybody you love for that long does.

When the train came to a complete stop, I got off. The first thing that hit me was the crisp, cool air. Though it made me shiver, it sure was better than dusty train air, and smoggy city air. The sun was out too. It shined off on my long blonde hair, making it look whiter than it actually was.

I didn't have the slightest clue as to where I was going. So, I just began to walk to wherever my legs took me.

After about an hour, I began to grow tired of walking by my lonesome. Bored, I started kicking the rocks that peacefully laid on the ground. By now, I was next to an old looking movie house in the middle of town. I wasn't exactly paying attention to where I kicked my rocks, so I accidentally kicked one too hard and hit a boy in the leg.

"Ow." He Yelped

"Oh I'm sorry. I didn't mean too. Are you okay?" I asked, flustered out of embarrassment.

"Yeah, I guess. Why you look awful familiar, but I've never seen you round these parts. What's your name?" The brown haired boy asked. His green-blue eyes also asked it for him. Curiosity lingering through them.

"I'm Kerri. Kerri Winston." I smiled.

"Wait. Your related to Dallas Winston?" He asked quickly.

"Yes sir! He's my older brother. You know him?"

"Who doesn't?" He chuckled, making me laugh. "I'm Ponyboy, by the name. Ponyboy Curtis."

"Well it's nice to meet you Ponyboy," I grinned, "Hey! If you don't mind, could you possibly walk me to where Dallas might be?"

"Oh, yeah, sure!" Ponyboy smiled, leading the way.

We began to walk, to only be stopped by a blue mustang, full of Socs. I knew Socs. They were everywhere in New York.

"Just keep walkin' Kerri." Ponyboy whispered in my ear, beginning to walk faster. That's when I heard one of the socs Whistle.

"Hey-a, looky here." One said. "Ain't she a pretty broad." Came from another. "Damn she fine, you dig." Another said.

Then they all started yelling, "GREASER." Over and over

Pony grabbed a hold of my hand, and we started jogging to the train tracks that I just came from.

They were there.

We jogged more into the neighborhoods, hoping we'd loose them.

They were there too.

Finally we got closer to what he had said to be his house, they pulled around infront of us, and got out of their car. My heart was beating 100 miles a minute. I still didn't know why. SOCS NEVER SCARED ME.

They came to close for comfort. Pulled out a switch too. Yelling, "Need a haircut greaser?" At ponyboy.

He was tackled on the ground by three of them, leaving one with me. I looked at the horrific scene. They cut his hair, and his throat. They dropped him and came towards me.
