Chapter 20

*Luke's P.O.V*

I layed on the couch boredly, not really paying any attention to the movie. 

I simply wasn't bothered to watch it. 

Why? 

Because i couldn't stop thinking..

About Ivy. 

We haven't really spoken since she found out that we are leaving for the tour. I know it must be hard for her especially because she is dating Ashton. 

But it's hard for me too.

I don't know what it is but she really has that something about her, that i just can't resist. 

Yeah, she's still a nerd. 

But who cares? 

I sighed and sat up straight.

Everyone was focused on the movie. 

I quietly stood up and walked over to Ivy and Ashton. 

They were all cuddled up. 

Ew.

"Could we talk?", i whispered into her ear. 

She looked up at me with a raised eyebrow but nodded. 

Ashton eyed me suspiciously as Ivy stood up. 

We walked outside into the garden. 

It was now pretty dark. 

We both sat down on the steps. 

"Soo..", i said looking at the ground. 

She was completely quiet, not saying anything. 

"Why haven't you told me?", she said after a while. 

I looked at her and she was already looking at me. 

I thought about what i should say, but the truth is, i didn't know why i haven't told her earlier. 

Maybe i just didn't want her to suffer, going through all of this. 

"I thought.. Doesn't matter", she said turning her face away. 

"Ivy..", i tralied off. 

I took her hand and gently placed it in mine. 

She turned her head and looked me in the eyes. 

"Look.. I'm sorry i haven't told you about the tour, i'm sorry none of us did. We just didn't want to see you hurt.. And i'm sorry for being such an asshole to you all the time", i said looking into her eyes. 

She half smiled at me. "It's okay Luke. I'll miss you", she said as she ruffled my hair slightly. 

I smiled at her. "I'll miss you too."

We both leaned in and hugged each other tightly. 

I've no idea what we are. 

Just friends? 

Are we even friends? 

I don't know.. 

But what i do know, is that we have a special connection between us. 

Ivy let out a small sigh. 

I rubbed her back and pulled away. 

She rested her head on my shoulder and we looked up at the stars. 

"You know it's funny.. But i actually really like you..", i said looking at the stars.

Ivy chuckled. "I really like you too Luke", she said looking back into my eyes. 

I smiled at her and pecked her lips. 

She smiled back at me. 

She turned her head towards the window and her smile disappeared. 

I turned my head also and saw Ashton. 

He looked at me and walked away. 

Ivy sighed. 

"I have to talk to him", she said as she stood up. 

I nodded, and looked up at the sky again. 

Before she left she kissed my neck, i smirked. 

"Go and talk to him", i said. 

"See you later", said Ivy quietly as she left. 

I just sad there, on the steps, thinking. 

My whole life is about to change.

*Ivy's P.O.V*

I walked back into the house looking for Ashton. 

"Ashton?", i called as i walked into the kitchen. 

He wasn't there. 

I walked back into the living room. 

He wasn't there either. 

"Ashton..", i said, turning around i noticed him sitting on the stairs. 

"I've been looking for you", i said as i walked up the stairs and sat down next to him. 

He didn't ansnwer me. 

"Hey, what's wrong?", i said placing my hand on his thigh. 

He looked up at me, his eyes were so watery. 

"Ashton", i said quietly. 

He pulled me in for a hug and hugged me. 

I hugged him back, wrapping my hands around his neck. 

"Tell me what's wrong.. Please", i mumbled into his shoulder. 

We pulled away. 

"You and Luke seem to have gotten really close, over the past few weeks", he said playing with his hands. 

I sighed. "Don't worry about that Ashton, I love you, okay? You're the one i love", i said looking into his eyes. 

"I love you too Ivy", he said, looking back into my eyes. "But i don't want to lose you, ever. You mean to much for me."

"I don't want to lose you either", i whispered as a small tear rolled down my cheek.
