CHAPTER ONE:
TOMMY OLIVERTOMMY OLIVER, THE NEW KID once again. She won't be known as just Tommy Oliver, but the new kid with a boy's name and that irked her nerves. Angel Grove would be their fourth town in the past four years. As much as she tried to be positive about the move, she couldn't. Tommy became very tired of "starting new" as her family liked to put it. As if they hadn't already done that. She heads downstairs of her new home walking in on her parents having an intense, whispered discussion. When Mr. and Mrs. Oliver hear Tommy enter, they shut down the conversation completely. Her mother wearing a fluffy sleeping robe, smiles.
"Good morning," Mr. Oliver tries, receiving a hum in response, "your first day at a new school. Are you excited?"
"Just like the other three times. Ecstatic!" Tommy couldn't control her sarcasm, but lately with everything that's been going on, her emotions were spiraling.
Tommy's mother warningly glanced at her husband before adding, "Need me to drive you?" She looked at her mother up and down judging her attire and the woman noticed. "I'm just offering to drive you, not to walk you to your class."
"I'd rather walk. Thanks." Tommy solemnly avoided meeting their eyes as she had an idea of what they were thinking. That maybe this move would work out for her and that they do these changes to help her. But clearly they thought wrong, Tommy just wanted to stay in one place.
"Alright. Be careful!" Her parents called out as she shut the front door.
Tommy took a couple moments to go through her music playlist before settling with one of her favorites, Ain't No Mountain High Enough by Marvin & Tammi Terrell. Despite the awful mood she felt upon arriving to this town, this song uplifted her just about 10% and even made her content walking around town until she reached her wretched destination.
Angel Grove, she thought, be good to me. Tommy inhaled deeply then stepped forward into the premises. Students lingered near their lockers and Tommy tried so hard not to get caught in the spotlight and find the office. It didn't take her long before she spotted the counselor's and relief washed over her.

Billy Cranston walked the halls radiating with confidence. After the non-intentional feud with the school's bully and the positive feedback he received for striking, the timid, socially awkward kid, felt untouchable and in a way, he kind of was. Within a week span Billy became stronger and alert, not just him, but his friends as well. A month had gone by since their battle with Rita Repulsa and because they defeated her, they were now relaxing and enjoying each other in high school. Unaware of the possible many threats to come. Someone like Tommy Oliver. A walking hurricane.
"Amanda just smiled at me." Billy said in a hushed tone.
Jason Scott pulled out a few journals from his locker and shoved them inside his book bag. "Amanda? No way. She's Kim's ex friend. Are you even aware of what went down?"
"Yes, but I'm not getting involved in any of that." Billy dismisses.
"Well, you shouldn't. That's a no man territory." His great pal advised.
"You're probably right. Plus, I won't be good at the whole flirting and dating thing considering the lack of experience." Billy notes awkwardly.
"You'll get there, Billy." Jason patted his friend on the back.
"Ow." He groaned at the barely heavy hand. "Watch it. I'm sore everywhere from our time in the pit."
