Chapter 27:

Words full of hate and sadness...

“Why the hell did you even hide this from us, Chae?” Jennie asked, her eyebrows furrowed

Chaeyong sighed, she knows that this day will come

Where she has to explain everything, where she has to tell the truth, the painful truth

“There's no point of saying this to you....” Chaeyong answered and the two girls where shocked

“Jimin, you have to explain...” Jin said, he was shocked to hear the news

Jimin was silent, he couldn't even look at his hyung's eye

“No point? Have you forgotten that we are your friends?!” Jennie yelled and Jisoo  rub Jennie's shoulder to calm her

“....No.....I never forgot....it's just....I'm different....” Chaeyong whispers the last thing she said but she made sure that everyone heard it

“D-different? What do you mean by that?” Jisoo asked, stuttering because of her nervousness

“I was never a part of you, guys....” Chaeyong says and a tear left her eye

“Stop being so childish and just please--”

“I'm not. Can't you see? I'm being an adult now, Jennie....I'm going to be married soon...but it's just a contract...” Chaeyong chuckled, painfully

“I'm sorry but I have nothing to do with you. Can you please leave us?” Chaeyong said to Bangtan and they glared at Jimin

“Come with us, Jimin. You have explaining to do...” Namjoon says and they left

“Now, can you please explain to us?” Jisoo asked and Chaeyong smiled

What a strong woman she is...

“I'm engaged... My parents forced me...they said it's for the f-ing business...which I hate them...”

“And you know what's so funny?” Chaeyong asked before chuckling

“He's my f-ing ex....” Chaeyong added and laughed

Behind her laugh is a person dying...

“Y-you two dated?” Jisoo asked and the two had their eyes widen

“Of course. But we ended up breaking up because....”
Chaeyong paused and looked at them

“....I don't want to disappoint you...” She added and another tear left

“Disappoint us? Really, Chae?!” Jisoo yelled at her

“You already made us feel disapoointed  to you!” Jisoo yelled and her eyes widened at her own words

Chaeyong looked down, she bit her lip to stop her tears from falling but failed

“Chae, I didn't mean to--”

“That's what I'm scared of....you two are so strong. You do your best and you don't disappoint anyone...and what about me?”

Chaeyong said, her eyes redden because of her crying

“No matter what I do...no matter how I made everyone proud...they would always be disappointed of me...”
