Irene sighed, she heard their conversation and couldn't help but help Chaeyong

“Why don't you send me to the police station? ” Irene asked and Jisoo was silent

“Why don't you hurt me? Why don't you slap me? Why don't you kick or punch me?! Why are you being kind?!” Irene asked, yelling

“Even if I wanted to do those things to you...” Jisoo paused and looked down

“...Nothing would change..” Jisoo continued her words, looking at Irene

“Even if I wanted to be mad at you...I can't...”

“Because nothing would change. The past is in the past. I let it go...” Jisoo said and a tear left Irene's eye

“I wouldn't report you nor send you to the police...” Jisoo said with a smile

“I believe that you will change, Irene. I told you about jealousy...and that isn't just the one who is destroying you...” Jisoo said

“Loneliness is another one...” Jisoo added, looking straightly at her eyes

“I knew about your parents...they died at your early age. Then your aunt raised you but treated you like sh*t. Then you left Daegu and went here to Seoul...” Jisoo said
