Daisy,

      How many times must I tell you that you’re not alone?

      If I could, I would be by your side 24/7. You make me feel things I just can’t explain, like I’m on some high when I’m around you; and when you’re gone... I feel empty, lost.

      You don't seem to grasp how important you are to me. You mean the world to me. You mean more than anything to me, and I am positive that I will forever be in love with you.

      And, believe it or not, Daisy, it's okay... we're all a little broken inside.

As I lay in my bed

in this dark room

the silence is strident

and so is my mind.

My thoughts immediately go to

you

every moment of the day

until

my eyes grow heavy

and my body is at peace

but still

you're there

in the back of my mind.
