Chapter 4- A Word in Private

*Aeron's P.O.V.*

"Alex can I talk to you alone for a moment?" Mr.28 grabs his arm leading Alex off of the bleacher.

I look at the 4 boys behind me, I raise an eyebrow. They all shrug, I keep my eyes on Alex and Mr.28. But I stop when I hear a light voice say my name.

"So, Aeron..."

*Alex's P.O.V.*

I was pretty confused why Niall wanted to talk to me all of a sudden. Confused because we're not even close I just know him as Niall the team captain. He lead me to the locker room, he goes into the locker room before me as I hold open the door for him.I walk into the locker room after him. As the door closed behind me Niall turns around slowly which I just think is dramatic. Anyways... he has this weird look on his face that I've never seen before.He opens his mouth to speak, but nothing comes out and he snaps his mouth closed. He tries again but the same thing happens. I've never seen my captain at a loss for words. So I take try to make it easier for him and help him out."Captain whatever it is you have to say...just spit it out and get it over with."I say trying not to sound too harsh about it. Niall takes in a deep breath and then he exhales closing his eyes collecting his thoughts. I've seen him do that a couple of times before, when we were losing out soccer game.He finally opens his eyes and said, "You didn't tell me that your girlfriends the captain of the volleyball team."I looked at Niall confused and thought to myself, "I don't even have a girlfriend, Aeron's just my best friend from elementary school..."Then I ask him, "What makes you think that she's my girlfriend?"I arch my eyebrow. He was looking away from me when I asked that question, but as the words fell from my mouth he looked up at me. His confused face made me want to laugh it looks like he's constipated."She didn't deny that you are her boyfriend." he says in an annoyed tone.Aeron might have done that for a reason...she told me about the wrong types of guys that try to be with her. So I'm not going to ruin what she has planned and go with the flow. I wouldn't want my best friend to be with a douche like him he uses girls and treats them like trash. I would never want some douche nozzle like him to break my best friends heart."Okay...well let's say she is my girlfriend, what do you want with her?" I asked him."Well, I just want to show her the fun in life...sexually and physically." he says with a smirk on his face.I just want to punch that smirk right off of his face...it disgusts me the things that I have witnessed and heard him do to girls."Well it's a good thing that she's with me...because she's not missing out on anything."I slowly make my way closer to him . "You may be may be my captain, but she's my girlfriend and also my best friend so don't try anything stupid. I've seen the way you work, and you're not about to ruin her with your....bullshit."I spit in his face. I turn away swiftly making my way out of the locker room, back to the bleachers where I left Aeron. She's still with the 4 other guys from the team talking to them.

*Aeron's P.O.V.*

"So Aeron..." I hear from behind me. I turn around to see them eyeing me from head to toe. "Which one of you called me?" I asked them. "I called you babe. Is that a problem?" says the guy they call Zayn. I roll my eyes ignoring him. There's a slight smirk on his face as he says, "Why are you flirting with Niall even though you have a boyfriend? I didn't know the captain of the volleyball team was a slut." And I replied saying, "Who the fuck is Niall? And I didn't know that the co-captain was such a prick." One of the boys to the left, Harry a.k.a. Mr.Green Eyes says, "Actually love, I'm the co-captain. And I'm sure I not what you think I am." he says in a British,raspy,slow tone. "Ops. My-bad Harry. Do you need a tissue to dry your tears? Diamonds lame comebacks are rubbing off on me, it was a simple rookie mistake, it won't happen again." I said saluting to him. He winked at me smirking but, them his face turned serious. "Why did you push Diamond off of Alejandro's lap?" he asked, scowling at me. I opened my mouth to answer his question but, then he started talking again. "I didn't know the captain of the volleyball team was such a bitch." he spat at me. "How do you know Diamond's name you creep? And Diamond is my best friend and she'll realize that she over reacted, and we'll laugh about it later. This is the last time I'm asking this question...Who the fuck is Niall?" The guy named Liam cleared his throat to speak, "We know things that you don't think we do. Niall is the captain a.k.a. Nialler a.k.a., at last to you, Mr.28." I nod my head in understanding and say, "So you guys stalk people... that's good to know." Harry rolls his eyes, saying, " I bet you wished we stalked you." he smirked. I suddenly heard noise coming from behind me, I turned around to see Alex stomping up the bleachers. Niall was standing at the bottom of the bleachers glaring at Alex. Alex comes up to me and from the look on his face I can tell that he's upset. He finally reaches to where we're sitting and I say, "Alex? What's wrong?" I grabbed his hand trying to calm him down. He doesn't answer my question in stead he pulls me up on my feet and pulls me into a hug. I can feel his breath on my ear as he whispers to me, " I know that I'm your pretend boyfriend so I'm following your lead. Make it believable Lawley." When he pulls out of the hug he kisses me on my cheek. I'm pretty sure Niall saw that because he bumps into Alex's shoulder as he passes by him. As Niall sits down Harry gets up and starts walking down the bleacher. Niall and Liam say at the same time, "Where are you doing Hazza?" and Harry replied, "I'm just going to the restroom mom and dad." he says rolling his eyes. They all burst out laughing except for Alex he's just scowling at Niall for some unknown reason. "What's so funny? That wasn't even that funny, it was as lame as one of Diamond's jokes!" They all just started laughing even harder. "That was not even funny." Then Louis finally stopped laughing and said, "I can't believe she didn't tell you yet." I have a good feeling that my face looks really confused as I say, "Tell me what? What are you talking about?" Then Zayn speaks up, "Diamond and Harry are seeing each other in "secret"" he says signaling air quotes on the word secret. My jaw drops in surprise from the sudden new news and Harry is gone.
