As Azura crept out of the den, she discovered who was really abducting her hard-earned shadow-elk. It was a pack of death wolves.
Oh my god.
I'm going to die now. I can't protect Ace and Aries, let alone myself. Death wolves are powerful creatures and will exterminate anyone- or anything- that crosses in their path. Azura howled for Aries, and so he was summoned from the den. His head stood up at the smell of another canine demon. He leapt from the den and started sniffing the ground, then barked and growled at the death wolves. "Come'on Aries," Azura yelled, trying to sound confident, "Give 'em what they deserve." Aries swiped his paws at the death wolves.
Azura thrusted electric bolts at the pack, but it had barely any effect.
"Leave this place!" she cried, attempting to scare them away. Aries started a fight with one of the wolves. He had deep scratches all over his body. Soon, blood started to seep out of his back. A wolf bit at his leg and Aries let out a loud yelp.
"Aries NO!" Azura saw his pain, and wouldn't be able to live without him. "Aries!" she commanded, "Stop!" Aries started to whimper, and backed down because of the agony. He fell over due to the leg injury. Then, as if there was no screaming, growling, or other noises, Ace peacefully woke up and rushed out of the den. He tried to open his eyes up from sleep. "What happened?" he yawned. Ace didn't seem to notice what was going on. Wow. How is it this hard to wake up from the sound of death wolves growling? Azura asked herself. "There was a pack of death wolves that tried to take our shadow-elk. Aries fought them off, but he's hurt now." Azura explained. Aries whined in misery.
"Aries, don't die, please." Ace began to shed a few tears.
"I think we need to get him to a Healer. Otherwise, he might not live for long."
"No. Why? Why do we have to lose EVERYTHING?" He sobbed
"That's just how life is. Can you help me pick him up? We absolutely need to get him to a Healer's Hut."
"I'll do anything for Aries at this rate." Azura and Ace heaved the poor dog up to their shoulders, and walked as fast as they could. As they got halfway there, Aries wept and kicked his legs- the ones he could move- around and about.
Oh god, let him stay in the Underworld, please. He's the only thing we have.
Please.
When they finally got to the Healer's Hut, they begged and begged for the healer to help, even though it was late at night and the hut was closed. "You need to help us. Please!" Ace whined, "Poor Aries can't take it much longer."
Please.
Please. It sounds so pathetic now. Just praying and praying until there is nothing else to plead about.
Please.
"I've got Z's to catch up to, bud." the healer complained. Azura wouldn't take a no. Even if she got sent behind bars for it, she didn't care anymore. Enraged, she levitated up and shot an electric bolt to the healer, and threatened, "If you even think about refusing now, Aries won't be the only demon DEAD tonight."
