Shadow glanced around. She was in what looked like a clearing. It was surround by a dark forest. Shadow looked up expecting to see a night sky but it was just black and blank. Shadow saw a flash of orange.
"Fire!" She heard the voices of her family scream. Flames suddenly surround her. There were screams in the distance. Shadow recognized them. It was Lightsky, Blackfrost, and Lake but their was also another scream. The scream of Robin.
Shadow yowled. "Its okay! Im coming! Ill come to get you! I promise!"
Shadow tried to get up but she couldnt move. She tried to shout and yowl but the words couldnt come out.
There was suddenly a cat in front of her. She had a dark pelt but thats all Shadow could see through the dark. The cat sat down in front of Shadow. They were now, face to face. The strange cats head was hung low and her eyes were closed.
The flames around them grew higher. The strange cat's eyes suddenly open and her head was now held high. She had a evil look in her eyes. It was like her silver eyes were made of death.
Shadow finally noticed her eyes color. They were silver... just like Shadow's eyes. They looked exactly alike. Same black pelt and white paws. Same skinny body and serious look. The strange cat smirked. Shadow noticed that the only thing different about them is that the strange cat's right ear is torn.
"Hello, my shadow self." The strange cat smirked. Shadow stilled was unable to move or speak. The screams were gone now.
"You will become me. Darkness will fill you and in the end you will be the death." The cat said. Her voice was cold and dark. The flames and the strange cat turned to smoke.
