Tyler and Josh were now tied up, but the tape on their mouths were taken away so they had the ability to speak to each other.

"He said 'thirty minutes'", said Tyler. "So we have about twenty one minutes now if that was accurate. What do we do?"

"I don't know, dude, I'm so scared," said Josh, shaking to no ends.

When Tyler had stepped inside the machine,  he had no idea that it would turn into this mess. He was scared that he'd never see Jenna again. As he heard steps going down into the basement, he was scared of much more as well.

"No no no," Tyler said. "That wasn't thirty minutes." Five people from whom they recognized from Nicolas Bourbaki were now stepping towards them. As they began untying Tyler and Josh with force, Tyler felt something again. He felt some electrical shocks move through his brain, and he felt himself change more than ever before.

"Oh my god, what animal is this blind?!" Tyler yelled. "Josh, what am I?"

                "You're a rhino!"

The people from the group were in such shock, they moved backwards and were yelling; this was not part of their plan.

"Josh, I can't see! What do I do?" Tyler felt so confused and his vision was so blurry; he couldn't identify anything in the room.

"Tyler, just charge with your horns!" Tyler then did just that, and he struck two members of the group, Henri and Claude.

Tyler could tell that rhinos were't meant to be aggressive animals and although he had horns, he wished that he would have turned into a lion or something else.

As one of the members Alexander pulled out a zap-gun to zap Tyler and freeze him in shock, the radioactive energy Tyler felt from the gun caused Tyler to morph again and at first everybody thought that Tyler had somehow just disappeared, but Tyler had morphed into a mouse.

Tyler scurried away quickly before anyone had noticed, into a crack in the wall. 24 hours before, Tyler did not expect that he would be a mouse running away from a group of evil French mathematicians in 1939. Tyler found himself between some walls, with pieces of construction all around. He, for now at the least, had found a way to escape, but he was worried about Josh. Tyler overheard the scientists telling somebody who Tyler assumed to be Dr. Weil on the other side of the wall "turned into a rhino right before our eyes. The morph gun is not with us, it's still in the back room, but he just morphed. I've never seen anything like it. And then he just disappeared."

"Okay, I'll try to find that bastard. You take care of this Josh kid," Dr. Weil said. "Josh," Tyler squeaked. Tyler needed to save Josh, and he had a plan. He was gonna get the Morph gun and try to use it; it was his only shot.

Tyler went underneath the floor boards and began travelling underneath the ground of the building. So much dust was down there, but Tyler kept moving forward, with the brown floor boards creaking above him as he moved, hearing steps above him of what he assumed to be members of Nicholas Bourbaki at times. They had no idea that the person that they were looking for was an inch below them. Tyler found a familiar spot, as he saw above him was the room that they came to when they entered the building. Tyler scurried through the building to the room where Nicolas Bourbaki had been meeting, one member still there in case he was to show up there. Tyler had to be very careful to not be noticed. The member did not seem to be too alert however, as he was probably more looking for a rhinoceros than a mouse.
