"You didn't have to stay up all night with me Cody" I say "Yeah, I did" Cody says "hungry?" Cody asks and I shake my head "thirsty?" He asks and I shake my head "anything?" Cody asks "soar" I say showing Cody my hands that look like this...

"Casey I—" Cody starts but he just grabs my hands and holds them lightly "I'm sorry" Cody says in almost a whisper "It's ok" I say in a sad voice "Netflix?" Cody asks and I nod, he turns on Breaking bad and I start to doze off

Cody~

I turned on breaking bad and Casey finally started to fall asleep. If Casey wasn't sitting there scared on the floor, I'm not sure that guy would be alive right now. I've always had feelings for Casey but she's never really shown it back, so I push it away. I've seen boys come and go around her but none of them ever tried that. Once I knew Casey was asleep for good I turned off the tv and pulled her into me not in a I'm crushing you way in a I want to comfort you way.

Casey~

I woke up at 6p.m. Wrapped in Cody's arms, I felt safe with him... I don't know but when Cody and I touch I get this warm feeling that can also send shivers up my spine... am I falling for my best friend?

"Babe I'm here, where are you?!!" I hear my girl best friend yell and Cody wakes up and I glare at him "you told her?" I say quietly but sharply "I had to, she deserves to know" Cody says rubbing his eyes as Corinne bursts into Cody's room "I'll deal with you later" I say sharply and Cody turns over into his side and goes on his phone.

"Are you Ok, oh my god your a mess, I brought ice cream and flowers and chocolate and pizza and—" Corinne rushes "Corinne, as much as I love you... this is all to much especially right now, please just come back in a day or two and I'll be able to talk about it" I say and Corinne smiles "ok, call me if you need anything" Corinne says before leaving.

"Is it really that bad that I told her?" Cody asks "Did I look like I needed that" I ask and Cody just looks at me "I'm sorry" Cody says "it's fine" I say as I start to rub my hands "you need to eat" Cody says "I'm not hungry" I say "Chipotle?" Cody asks "sure" I shrug "I'll order you a bowl" Cody says opening postmates on his phone.

At 7:30 the postmates gets here "Your bowl madame" Cody says handing me my "thanks" I say taking it and instantly regretting it because the second Cody's hand left the bowl my hand  ached and I could barely hold it, I quickly set it down on my lap as a tear escaped my eye because of the pain, Cody immediately grabbed my hand and held it lightly "You ok?" Cody speaks softly and I nod as he wipes the tear that had fallen.

We finished eating and Cody put on football... of course. I opened my Snapchat and the face camera was on and I saw 2 black eyes "how the fuck do I have black eyes?" I say annoyed "trauma" Cody says looking at my eyes then back at the tv "ew" I say "the purple really compliments your skin tone" Cody says in a sarcastic tone, I punch Cody in the arm hard forgetting the my hand is literally 2 more slams away from breaking "bitch!" I say holding my own hand "how'd that feel" Cody smirks "your an ass" I say.

I'll admit I'm feeling better about last night, it's something I'm going to have to brush off seeing as I will never see that son of a bitch again.

Cody~

At 9:00 Casey started to doze off again, I know as a fact she was tired from resisting that fucker. But thank God She is starting to become herself again, I hate seeing her upset it fucking sucks. She doesn't have a good past she relationship after relationships she has been cheated on, and her last relationship was super abusive it ended with me leaving the guy the same bruises on him as he had left on her over the year he did it. It doesn't help that Casey's father abuses alcohol, drugs and her family and her. This girl has been through so much and she's still a trooper, she deserves someone who will treat her right and stay with her through the hard times.

The game ended at 10:30 and I decided I'd go to sleep.

Casey~

10:00a.m. I wake up and decide I'd get up and shower, my hands feel a lot better and I can move them the bruising is still there but barely my eyes are no longer black but my hair is gross. I finish my shower and get changed into this...

I put on light makeup and put my hair up into a bun. I walk out of my room and into my kitchen. I decide I'd make some avocado toast for me and Cody and I turns out like this...

I then pour 2 glasses of orange juice just as I hear Cody come out of his room "That for me?" Cody asks "mhm" I say as I take a bite of mine "feeling better?" Cody asks "I'm honestly trying to forget about it, and once these bruises are gone it shouldn't take me long" I say and Cody nods "you won't forget about it but you should move on" Cody says and I nod agreeing.

"I'm running some errands today, if you wanna come" I say as I take Cody's plate and put it in the dishwasher "shouldn't I be the one running the errands, I'm the oldest" Cody says "no, your the guy" I say popping back up from the dishwasher "your sexist" Cody smirks "and your ageist" I smirk back "fuck you" Cody jokes.

"ya I'll come but I need to go see my mom at 3:00" Cody says I look to the time and it reads 11:00 "we should be back" I say and Cody nods.
