I love my family and would do anything for them, which is why I'm on my way right now to see my sister Joanie. She lives three hours away with five kids and another one on the way. Her husband, Allen, works all the time, and since I'm my own boss, I make my own hours. So I'm headed to Joanie's house to try and give her a break.

She called me just an hour ago in tears. Since she's four months pregnant her emotions are going haywire and having five kids all under the age of nine doesn't help.

All together I have twenty nephews and nieces. I have three brothers, two are older than both Joanie and me and the other one is the youngest out of all of us. So the oldest, James, has eight kids with his wife Clare; John has four with his wife Lisa; Joanie has five and a half with her husband Allen; and finally Jacob has three with his wife Robin.

Don't ask about all the "J" names, my parents are just strange like that. But I do think it has to do with their names being Jeff and June.

I on the other hand am single. Don't ask why because I have no idea. I've been out with sveral guys and they all seem really sweet and good husband material, just not my husband. The weird thing is every man I've dated ends up being a really good friend of mine. And the last one I dated, Drake, has actually become my best friend. I know it sounds weird, but I'm okay with that. I don't have time for a man right now, even though I'm already thirty-two and my younger brother, Jacob, who is twenty-five, has already been married for almost six years and has three kids. My life would be great if not all my siblings were married with kids. My mother is constantly on my back about finding someone and settling down. But I don't have time for that.

But I love my life like it is. I get to spend time with my friends, work overtime at my veterinarian clinic and drop everything and go without having to ask permission first. I make my own schedule and I love it. Of course, life does get lonely, but my Australian Shepherd, Champ, gives me enough company for now.

So anyway, I have no idea how I got on the topic of all that, but that's me. I'm the kind of person that'll drop anything at anytime to help someone. I love people and animals, and I'm a very loyal person. So if you need a friend, give me a ring! I'm here for you just like I am for everyone else.

I finally pull into Joanie's driveway, and jump out with my bags in hand and my dog on my heels. I don't ring the doorbell; I just walk straight inside. As I step in I'm hit with a wave of a crying baby, fussing kids, burning food and a blaring TV. Setting my bags down, Champ follows me into the kitchen where I take the burning pasta off the stove and try to save it. It's not badly burned, so I fix what I can, turn the heat down and leave the kitchen. I almost bump into Joanie in the hallway, and when she sees me she starts crying again.
