Hinata didn't show for the past week.

Nobody knew what happened.

She didn't even tell her friends.

"I wonder what's up with her..." Tenten drawled absentmindedly. She was twirling her pen at her fingertips, pursing her lips in thought; pouting.

"Period." Sakura replied flatly.

Tenten flinched. This wasn't the Sakura they were used to.

Said pinkette was more than upset about the particular subject. Her friend is ignoring her and she can't do much about it. School is being a bitch and she's missing work god dammit!
She debated a few times if she should visit her.

She'd probably slam the door shut anyway...

Needless to say.

It pissed her off to no ends.

Naruto was acting rather hostile.
Well, even more hostile.

He'd sit by himself at lunch on the roof and stare of angrily into space and would snap viciously at people who would try to approach him.

Shikamaru sighed deeply. This whole situation was a drag.

Hinata laid sprawled out lazily on her bed, pale face squished between pillows. She was wearing a simple leggings and T-shirt.

She did nothing. Just laid there and let her thoughts consume her.

The more she thought about it, the more disgusted she felt.

She shouldn't have said those things.

She knew that. But she did it anyway.

Ring! Ring!

Her phone was blaring. She quickly grabbed it, only to scrunch up her nose and end the call.

Ring! Ri-
She tossed the phone on the ground. Not wanting to talk anytime soon.

She knew they would be upset, but there was nothing she wanted to do about it.

She always hurt the ones she cared about the most anyways.

Might as well stop caring altogether.
